PROBLEM WITH MONITOR NOT SWITCHING ON ON SOLTEK SL-65KVB/KV2 MOTHERBOARD
Hi, does the pc load up to bios and does the pc power up, how did you reset cmos was it by the jumper or by the battery if you done one try the other. If none of that works, you may off blew or damages the power supply unit, you could of also damaged the motherboard which can happen because this same thing happened to me. and the cpu may have been damaged. get back to me with more details of what i said above and are see what i can do for you. Thanks

Soltek sl-k8av2-r motherboard
check your display card. it seems to be faulty.
If its onboard then use any PCI display card and try to boot. If its booting up then its confirm your onboard display got damaged.
Other than check settings in BIOS if there is any setting for VGA/VGA etc..
thanks

Do you mean the AGP chipset driver?
you can get it at www.soltek.de
Unfortunately, the site seems to be under construction at the moment.

Boot beeps
re check all inserted pci cards and all memory, reseat if necassary.
Have you recently upgraded anything, if so remove.
Continuos beeps can also indicate processor power failure.

SOLTEK SL-65K2-CT Motherboard
The beep pattern is a beep code and is how the motherboard communicates errors during the early booting process otherwise known as the POST (Power On Self-Test). List restart the computer and listen for the pattern of short and long beeps. Soltek does not list the beep codes in their manual, instead they refer to Phoenix who manufacturers the AwardBIOS on your motherboard. There are only two POST beep codes; a single long beep followed by two short beeps (Video error) and anything else. Apparently anything else you hear *probably* refers to RAM problems.
Since you?ve already tested both one of the remaining options is to install a *POST* card (about $30 to $50), boot the PC and read the hexadecimal error code for a more detailed clue to what failed. If you ask around you might find someone who has one and may be willing to loan it to you.
Another option is to write off the motherboard since the cost of the test equipment it about 1/3 the cost of a new board.
Let us know if you have any other questions and please don?t forget to rate the posing.
