It's not a direct solution to your issue but you can try exporting your contacts from your Samsung Wave to your computer using KIES, and then transferring the contacts to your new phone (assuming this is your intention). You may download KIES at Samsung's website ( http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/GT-S8500BAAXEU ).

The issue with the VoIP software you are experiencing may be caused by installing an unsigned VoIP software suite, such that the software is unable to connect to the internet's RTSP(Real-Time streaming protocol) to eshtablish a link with the VoIP service provider. Try to install a digitally signed application for the job.

I fixed the same issue on my phone, a Galaxy 3 by turning it off, taking the battery out, putting the battery back in and restarting the phone. Not sure why this fixed it but it worked. Also check the volume and silent mode... if it doesn't work then you can hard reset the phone. make sure to save all data to any external device (computer/laptop) before reset your phone.
