When these units are installed, there are specific relays (optional) that can be installed for various high-current devices such as the HVAC, window defoggers, etc. They require additional parts and labor to install, and may not have been (although it seems unlikely for the heater). The system is in valet. Press the "F" button twice then, press unlock. This will take the system out valet. This will handle the blue light/horn honk. As for the door locks, that may very well be another issue.

You will need some type of interface module to bypass the transponder in the key inorder for the remote start to turn on the van.

The problem you are having is not in programming. It sounds like when the starter was installed it was never installed to power up your accessories in your car. You have to just find what wire it is at your key cylinder and hook it up.

There are two constant 12 volt wires at the ignition on this vehicle: blue and green. The red power (with fuses) wires from the Viper should be connected to either of the two. The ignition wire is yellow. The pink wire from the Viper should be connected there. The accessories are orange and white. The pink with white from the Viper should connected to one and the orange from the Viper should be connected to the other. Please note that the Pink with white should be programmed to act as an accessory (off during crank). The starter wire is red and the purple from the Viper should be connected there. Also check for a good ground connection.

For programming:
Press and hold "f" until LED lights solid (approximately 10 seconds), then press and hold remote starter button(circle w/arrow) until LED blinks three times and the amber transmit LED lights up.
Now you have to enter the remote control learn routine: Turn ignition on, within ten seconds press and release control button on antenna then, press and hold control button while pressing the lock button on remote. System will respond (horn/chirp/flashing parking lights) when holding control button and when pressing lock button on remote.

You can adjust crank time in the settings, but I would be sure your tachometer wire is connected properly. test to be sure you are on the correct wire and set in tach mode. This will solve all your issues. If you are in virtual tach then it should voltage sense and need a minor adjustment. if any.

Yes you will need a module to interface the GM Anti-theft system in your vehicle. It's a fairly simple solution, and should run you around $100. it needs to fool your car into thinking the key is in the ignition when it remote starts, or else the Factory Anti-theft will trigger and not allow your vehicle to start, and trigger the factory alarm. ( your horn with sound off)
