Yamaha YST-SW150 Speaker Questions & Answers
I have a YST-SW150 speaker that turns it self off
I just fixed one of these with the same symptom. In between the power supply board and the amplifier board are a number of rather fine interconnect wires. One of these is the shutdown/startup control line for the auto on/off function. In my case the wire had been pinched where they are cable tied together. Causeing the power supply to think there was no music input and should shut down.rejoing the broken wire rectified the problem. In my case more than one wire had been damaged.the shut down line is labled SO on the amplifier board connector.
When i turn the speaker on,it shuts itself
Try turning it on and see if it shuts itself off, if so it is probably confused. I would put it in a dark closet for a week or so to teach it a lesson, then see what it does. Or you could unhook the speakers and see if it works fine, maybe your speaker wires are touching each other and grounding out something.

Yamaha rx-v671 usb overload issue
(francais) hello in my issue the probleme was a little resistor r027 it's in this red zone and very ugly. easy to find. a friend was unsolded the resistor and weld a little wire after wash with isopropanole alcool.
the resistor test the tension when we plug usb thing. less the resistor the usb ports don't work. you can buy r027 for 2 euros for 100 pieces.... or 2 euros for 5 10 pieces (funny).
