Hello,
I would call customer support and find out why the powerwheel does not go into reverse. You advised that it was the f150. I can give you the link as to where I tried to see if there might of been a safety feature of not letting the unit go into reverse. Here it goes

We have a Barbie jeep
Most auto parts store carry a load meter that will check the health of the battery. Go through the jeep first however and check that all connections are good and no wires are touching each other which would cause a dead short and drain batteries. That includes the speed pedal.
I have a powerwheels barbie
I would suggest checking all of the connections in the wiring. Often the spade type connections can come unseated during use.
Check the following areas:
- Connection to the battery itself
- Connection to the foot switch (you may need to unscrew it from the floorboard to check)
- Connection to the electric motor(s) attached to the rear wheels
If the battery is older, it may have failed. If you have a multimeter, or even a simple test light, you can check to see if the battery has voltage. You're looking for around 5-6 volts. Anything below just off the charger could indicate failure.
Hope that's helpful!
