When was it last factory serviced? Have you tried putting it in bright sunlight for 5 hours to fully charge the internal rechargeable battery. My guess is that the battery is worn out. No need to take the back cover off or anything like that. You don't need jeweler either. You just need to pull the crown to first "click" and the turn the crown to the right to correspond to the month that you are setting the time in. Between 1 and 2 o'clock represents January. Between 2 and 3 is February and so on. Once you get to the beginning mark of the month you are in, count how many years have passed since the last leap year. If it's 2 then put the second hand to two minutes after even (beginning). If it's three, move it to three minutes after. If it's leap year, you just put on exact (beginning) mark of the month you are in. That would be it. Like I have said, no need to visit jeweler or do any disassembling. It's a rechargeable battery. It is under a small circuit board after the back is off. Don't attempt to do this yourself unless your are experienced. Battery ( capacitor) is about $30 online

Your watch needs a new capacitor ( rechargeable battery of sorts) take it to a jeweller unless you have tools and know how.

Look at the inside of the band and there will arrows pointing what direction the to tap the pins out to remove links. Put the watch on a small roll of tape or something similar that keeps the band off the surface you are working on. Gently tap the pin out with a tool that will fit in the pin hole. Remove the pin and determine the number of links to remove. Remove the links and reverse the order in which you took it apart .
