Waring blender shoots food out the top
Are you blending something hot? When you blend a hot item the steam that is released will increase the pressure in the headspace above the contents in the blender. The lid will eventually blow off to release the pressure. To avoid this problem begin blending with no more that one cup of ingredients. Before turning the blender on, remove the center lid insert to allow venting of steam. Blend on low speed. As you blend you can add another 1 1/2 cups of additional liquid through the opening in the lid.Trust this method will resolve your problem.
My blender appears to be leaking from the bottom.
It is likely to be the rubber washer on the jug. You will need to disassemble the mixing blades and remove the rubber washer(s) from the jug and take it with you to a Target, Walmart or kitchen store. They usually carry a varity of the washers and you should be able to compare yours to get the right size. Some actually tell you exactly what mixers they fit.

If you think you need to replace it, first make sure you can get the part.
then look for a parts breakdown at an online parts store. If that doesn't help you will have to hunt and peck to figure it out. Do not be too aggressive, though after all these years things will be stuck.

Check and see if your blender was made in China.
If so, the chances are really slim for a finding parts for a fix.
If it was made in the USA, try "e-bay" for parts.
If you need a parts list, you will need to find one first.
Also, type Waring Blender into your search engine on your computer, to see if a dealer or repair place has a web-site.
God bless your efforts.
Leaks at the bottom of the glass holder
I'm no expert but in my experience if it leaking at the bottom then either the jar /carafe has a few chips or cracks around the hole in the bottom that the blade fits through and in that case you need to replace the jar and your blade assembly may still be good and can be moved to a new jar/carafe. Or the blade assembly has come loose a little and need to be tightened or some the washers (usually the rubber ones) have worn out and need to be replaced. There's plenty of explanation here at amazon and else where on how to replace the assembly blade, move it to a new jar and tighten it down, etc. Hope this helps!
