Behringer EuroPower EP4000 2Channel Amplifier Questions & Answers
Want to connect more speakers
Use splitter cables to double your outputs. The signal strength will be half to each speaker per channel. i.e. if each channel has an output of 100w then splitter cables will give you 4 x 50w to connect up. Aim to use speakers rated below the max output rating of your amp, so in this example 4 x 40w speakers would be safer (won't blow your amp) than 4 x 60w speakers

The Amp clip light is always ON only the left channel and the same channel is not functioning by giving sound, please help
I looked at a schematic for EP2500 which is same but has a lower buss voltage than the EP4000. Below, the drive signal to the power stage is full wave rectified to illuminate the LED, d-c is presented to the LED if R128 & R138 has an a-c return. There is a line that can push-up the a-c return. It goes off to a connector that is unknown. I suspect the push-up voltage is not there. It could mean anything. I think its coming from the main transformer, Check for blow fuses.
Also the speaker output is protected with a "Crowbar" circuit. It is simply a Triac device (light dimmer) or two SCRs to prevent d-c from shorted output devices being applied to the speakers. which would cook the speaker coils. This may be activated when amp is turned on. Then there is the possibility of the output power devices - one or more shorted.
The amp needs to be checked out by a repair technician.

Every time i switch the amp on breaker comes out
If you have operated this amp normally before and it just started tripping the breaker and wont re-set, It will have to be checked by a technician to determine what is causing the overload ie shorted capacitor or some such.

Channel 2 protection light on in ep 4000
Will be no doubt the main power amp that has failed that is connected to that channel. It will be located on a big heat sink and be hotter than the other(s) channels if you go in after it's been on.

The rule of thumb is you control your audio on the low side. That means you plug your mics, tuners, audio sources into the pre-amp and then the pre-amp into the equalizer/mixer ant finally the mixer into the power amp and the amp into the "large honkin' speakers". The inter connects on the low side (between the source, the mixer and the power amp are usually done with RCA plugs. Use a good quality set of cables to get good tight connections and solid grounding.

What is causing my EP4000
You're amp is probably approaching thermal mode which causes the amp to overheat and eventually shut down or if it has a limiter built in this is due to distortion. You must lower your output volume.

Please help! Behringer KX1200 master volume stops past 4 and no lines work just fx return
Also how do I reconnect the fan?
It sounds like you may have a broken potentiometer (aka volume knob) for the master volume control. If that is the case, you would need to replace it with a new one (or take it to an electronics technician to diagnose and repair).
Regarding the fan disconnection, this likely isn't causing your issue but you would still want to reconnect it as it keeps your amplifier cool while in use. Reconnecting is fairly straightforward - all fans have 2 or 3 wires that connect to corresponding terminals on the amp. Just make sure you don't mix up which wire is positive and negative, and make sure they are connected firmly and securely.
Behringer EP1500 amp does not produce full loudnes
Hi,
Please test the loudness of your device with a third-party decibel meter. This will give you a clear measure of whether the loudness of your device is changing with increase in volume. It could be that your surroundings are absorbing the increased sound.
Thank you.
