Unfortunately you can attempt to pry up lid at where it locks shut. Hope nothing cracks.. Use something plastic not metal .. make sure its powered off. Thats my best guess, Sounds like you have more than one disc inside?

Which are laptops? I use IBM R40e and HP laptop and I usually connect them with DV10 for conferrence. It's well! I have just a problem with Asus EEE. It unable connetc with DV10. I try use Video jack to connect. Result: It can display but the quality is very bad. Now I try to find another way to connect them together. Some information to share with you. Thanks you!

check the power timer settings and put it to disable setting, Or avoid anything that cover the exhaust, fan if the problem occur get assist to the technician.

The DV10 lets you connect 3 types video cables. VGA, Component, or RCA composite. Look at your computer to see what video outputs it provides. If you Google VGA cable, Component, or RCA composite, you'll see what these cables look like.

this tape is a ribbon wire that connects to the lower half of the unit.. you must push it back into its connector or the entire thing wont work..

Your Projector temperature sensor could be faulty. So locate the temperature controlling sensor and replace it with new one. It will solve your problem.

you must test the voltage terminal Fan, if there are the FAN is faulty, if there are NOT the problem is fuse, or loose or faulty connection to the FAN. Merry Christmas
