Toshiba satellite p505d s8935 overheats when playing 3d games.

Overheating When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail. A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust. Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan. If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.

How do i remove the cd dvd drive

Turn off the Toshiba laptop, remove the AC adapter and any other peripheral devices, and close the lid.

Turn the laptop over.

Touch an unpainted metal surface to discharge any static electricity. Release the battery lock-usually located near the back of the laptop-and remove the battery from its bay.

Remove the screw holding the DVD drive in place.

Where the screw is located depends on your Toshiba's model, but in newer laptops-particularly the Satellite-the screw is located next to the Toshiba sticker.

Unlike the other screws, which are embedded into the laptop, the DVD screw is even with the rest of the laptop's surface.

Gently pull the DVD drive from its bay to remove it from the laptop hope this helps

Dvd player won't play disc

The DVD read head may need to be cleaned. Sometimes perfectly OK drives also fail to read certain discs. If the problem is persistent, i.e. the notebook won't read any discs, then clean the head (with a head cleaner) and try again. If it starts working, fine.. If not, then you may have to replace the DVD drive. If the problem is only related to playing one particular DVD, then its the DVD that is faulty.
Hope this helps.

How do I change the hinges on my Toshiba P505D?

Remove the four rubber bungs at each corner of the screen cover then remove the four screws.
Luckilly Toshiba have thought about this problem!
If you offer the ninges up to the side of the screen, you will see how it is fixed.
Remove the covers fron the underside and the hard drive unplugs WITH CARE!
Unscrew the suround screws from the base and remove the top cover.
You can leave the keyboard in place.
You will see where the hinges fit to the base.
Replacement is the reverse.
Hope that helps.

A system error pops up saying that the system

this sounds liek a heatsink problem or it just needs to be cracked and cleaned. artic paste is used under the heatsink and when it drys up this problem can happen but I would say to start first with some compressed air and do some cleaning of the vents but if its doing it from the early start-up then I believe that its a heat sink sensor needing a couple drops of arctic paste which can be bought at your local radio shack.

Is the product key for Microsoft office 2013 the same as all product keys for 2013 Microsoft offices that operate under laptops using windows 8.1?

The product key is associated with the MS Office 2013 software, not the specific MS Windows version of Operating System - unless the MS Office lists a minimum version of OS ie: "Windows 8.0" In this case, it would not install on Windows 7. Otherwise, you should be able to install it on Windows 7, Windows 8, or later.

Japanese Visa Application with COE denied. Why?

How to Get Employment Security With Correct Japan Work Visa Japan is no different from other developing nations whereby grass seems greener on its side of the pasture. It attracts its fair share of foreign businesses as well as nationals seeking to work within its lands. Albeit many adhere to immigration procedures, some choose to test their limits on the basis of ignorance or defiance. By understanding the different types of work visa in Japan, it assures its foreign workers a continual stream of income with no threat of arrest and deportation. Visa simply infers the status of residence. Citizens obviously have no need of it as they automatically satisfy qualifications to freely reside in their country of birth. As for those of alien status who wish to join the local workforce, there should be a category to match one's requirement. Since most countries strive to improve the overall quality of life, professionals are generally welcomed to contribute knowledge and skill. Unskilled labor is normally not granted a visa to avoid flooding and dilution of the workforce. The visa is awarded in accordance to one's area of expertise. Supported with proof of relevant experience, it is based on the field of involvement whilst working in the country. In the event one's work scope changes from one expertise to another, it is essential to apply for a visa under the new circumstances. Different types of work visa in Japan also apply to foreign companies seeking to conduct local business. Domestic companies based abroad wishing to set up a local point of presence need to provide supporting documents to justify internal transfer of foreign workers. Governmental staff for diplomatic duties is assigned a category for legal residence. Over and above the general groupings, designated activities also garner approval from the authorities. Domestic service for non-native residents and citizens of certain nations on working holidays fall into this category of working visa. This, by no means, is the end of the list as it is best to consult the authorities on which visa serves best.Click Here For More Details: http://japanjobandvisaservice.com/blog/change-your-luck-when-apply-work-visa
