If your trying to chardge the psp system with the mains charger, take it out and try the usb adaptor just to see if its the connection if the usb doenst work then take the psp to a tech shop and see whether the damage is internal.

Make sure the battery is properly inserted. If it is not make sure that the cable is plugged in properly on the psp, to the converter and to the wall. If nothing works try changing the battery and using a new one.
