Desktop or Laptop computer ?Test all power and data leads that attach to your hard drive IDE,SATA

the leads from your (motherboard to your hard drive) make sure they have secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty

if its a 40 pin flat ribbon type it will be the first to fail

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty

even something as small as a faulty electrical fan and its lead can cause you problems

computers need all power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket

if you remove your graphics check the socket to make sure its dust free

restart your computer then reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard

hope this helps

P5vd2 vm se with led no power

A) Could be a faulty Power On switch. http://www.directron.com/atxswitch.htmlFind the two pins on the motherboard, that the two wires from the Power On switch go to. Unplug those wires. Take a SMALL flat tipped screwdriver, and touch across those two pins.Power Supply comes on? You have a bad Power On switch. Is -> Not, the most conclusive test, but an easy one to perform off the bat. There is a more conclusive test. If using this method the Power Supply does not come on, you have a bad Power Supply. If the Power Supply does come on, you have a bad Power On switch,http://www.fixya.com/support/t13903733-bypass_soft_power_switch_friont_computer[The Soft Power On circuit uses 5 Volts DC. In comparison two D cell flashlight batteries store 3 Volts DC. Just in case you are worried about shock ]NOTE*A Power Supply with a weak voltage power rail, will Not have enough power to turn the Processor on;1) If ALL of the LED's were lit up, they would use less than 1 Watt of power.2) EACH fan uses 2 to 3 Watts of power.3) A typical Processor can use 51 to 125 Watts of power.Just depends on what Processor it is.You either have a bad Power On switch, or a Power Supply that doesn't have enough power to blo-w it's nose. You can test the three main voltages.A) 3.3 VoltsB) 5 VoltsC) 12 VoltsJust use an economical multimeter set to DC Voltage. You can purchase an economical multimeter for around $5 to $12.Available in a multitude of stores. An auto parts store is but one example.Need guidance post the multimeter's manufacturer name, and model number. For additional questions please post in a Comment.Regards, joecoolvette

VGA problem

if your motherboard is not showing display -- Don't worry--
just buy a VGA display card from any computer hardware store,
it should not cost you more than Rs.500.
plug it into any of the PCI slots .
connect yout display connecter of your monitor now to this output instead of the default motherboard output..
you should get a display.

IF YOU WANT A BETTER DISPLAY by an AGP accelerated graphics display card.. this is costlier,
plug it in your AGP slot, this is different one than the PCI slot,
you will get a better display and computer will run faster , cos this will free up your RAM space.

Is it really continuous or stops after some time.
The beeps may represent some hardware fault and you might need to count them, although i am not sure what your problem is it may be some faulty hardware,
i cannot post all the beeps meanings here as they would take up a lot of space so if you could count them and post the number of beeps
Once you have the information on the beeps you could check the table on this site to identify the problem http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm

I got a problem with installing a pciex16 video

The system recognizes both. You can do either of these two:

1. Disable the internal video card via the BIOS. It will start using the add-on.

=== or ===

2. Right-click on your desktop and select [Properties] [Settings]
You will see two monitors #1 & #2.
Click [Identify] so that you know which is which.
Click on the monitor attached to the new video adapter and "checkmark" the box [Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor]

At this point, don't select [Use this device as the primary monitor] until the above steps are successful in accessing the new monitor.

Hope this helps!

How do I enhance my Asus PadFone X mini speaker loudness?

Look for a program called Sound Booster or one called DFX. DFX is my favorite because it not only boosts the volume, but lets you add other effects to enhance you sound as well. There is a free version. but to get all the effects you have to upgrade to the paid. If audio is important to you, check it out.

Graphics card no picture on monitor when connected via HDMI or any cable?

The issue you are experiencing with your graphics card and monitor can be caused by various factors. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to identify and resolve the problem: 1. Check power connections: Ensure that the graphics card has the necessary power connections properly connected. Some higher-end graphics cards require additional power connectors, such as 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Make sure they are firmly plugged in. 2. Verify BIOS settings: Access your motherboard's BIOS settings and check if the primary display output is set to the PCIe slot where your graphics card is installed. It should be set to prioritize the discrete graphics card instead of the integrated graphics (if applicable). 3. Update BIOS and drivers: Visit the Gigabyte website and make sure you have the latest BIOS version installed for your motherboard. Additionally, download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card from the XFX or AMD website. Outdated firmware or drivers can cause compatibility issues. 4. Reset BIOS: Try resetting the BIOS to its default settings. Locate the CMOS battery on your motherboard, remove it for a few minutes, then reinsert it. This action resets the BIOS settings to their defaults and may resolve any conflicting configurations. 5. Check for physical damage: Inspect the graphics card for any physical damage, loose connections, or faulty components. Ensure that it is securely inserted into the PCIe slot and that there are no visible signs of damage on the card or its connectors. 6. Test with a different monitor and cable: Connect your graphics card to a different monitor using a different cable (e.g., DisplayPort, DVI) to rule out potential issues with the HDMI cable or the monitor itself. This helps determine if the problem lies with the graphics card or the specific combination of monitor and cable. 7. Check for motherboard compatibility: Verify that your graphics card is compatible with your motherboard. Check the manufacturer's website for compatibility lists or consult the user manual for your motherboard. In some cases, a BIOS update might be necessary to ensure compatibility. 8. Seek professional assistance: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's advisable to contact the technical support of your motherboard or graphics card manufacturer. They may have specific troubleshooting steps or recommend further action, such as warranty service or component replacement. Remember to handle your hardware with care and take necessary precautions, such as grounding yourself and disconnecting the power supply, before performing any physical checks or adjustments.

I am using an Asus Vivo mini computer approx 5 years old. Since December I often receive error message across top, "Microsoft Edge (not responding)"

Question edited for clarity and toss in a load of CAPS as needed. Microsoft Edge is one of the worst browsers ever invented. It is flashy and looks pretty, but is not user friendly and is glitchy. The most likely issue for that Error Message is your Internet Wifi signal dropping out. You can test this theory two ways. Do you have a smartphone? Download the Free App Speedtest. When you get the Edge Error, whip out your phone and do a Speed Test. If it stalls or only returns a speed of 5 to 10 mbps, that is your issue. Or Download Google Chrome which is FREE and a much more robust browser and easier to use. Keep both Edge and Chrome open, when Edge collapses, try to do things on Chrome. If Chrome works, then the issue is Edge. If Chrome also fails, the issue is your Wifi and Router. A Router reboot should be done about once a month. Google Chrome Download - Download Google Chrome google.comhttps://www.google.com Continue your browsing experience from desktop to phone on Chrome. Download today. Now more simple, secure, and faster than ever - with help from Google built-in. Google Address Bar. One browser, all devices. Type less with autofill. Chrome support.
