When ipower on cannot display

If it seems like it booted up all the way (fans running, hard drive spinning) but the display is black try the steps below.Shine a flashlight on the dark screen to see if you barelysee the icons on the desktop. If so, then the LCD Inverter is bad. Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can beany kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vgacable to connect to your computer's vga port. If so that proves yourvideo card is ok. The video will show on most systems when you rebootwithout you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN(Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correctkey for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key willnormally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display. If you see no icons by shinning a flash light and the external monitor works, then your screen is bad. If you see no icons by shinning the flash lightand nothing shows on the external monitor, then most likely your video card isbad.

P5KPL-AM speaker beep

Hello, I am the technician that will be assisting you today. My name is Norman-Wynne Damstra.Welcome to Fixya, Sadael.Yes some-times the case/computer chassis does not have an internal BIOS/CMOS beep code speaker built in.So what you will need to do is go to your local computer store and purchase a mainboard beep code speaker. You may even find it online at your favorite computer store. The modern speaker is very small compared to the older mainboard beep code speakers.Your computer will continue to work without the speaker, the beep code speaker is there to help diagnose/troubleshoot problems when they occur.Take care!Norman-Wynne Damstra

P5KPL-AM motherboard is not booting

you must reformat it.. because of the spyware or any virus that it has..

it will affect the other computers.. so if you want this will you do...

you must reformat or putting a new OS in one of your computers.. then to easy copying..

cloning is the solution of it..you must clone the other hard disk in the first one that you put on a new OS.. then apply to all of your units..

PS: every time you cloned a hard disk you must change the IP ADDRESS to make sure that you will have a continues workgroup.. and preventing the duplicate IP address...
