I updated the bios of my ASUS P5KPL-AM SE

your bios driver is likely to be faulty.
so download a valid driver then update your bios again.
if it doesn't work, intercept all of cables of your PC case and even power cable of your monitor.
evolve battery of bios then wait for 15 minutes then connect all of cables and try turning on your pc:
1- with battrey of bios
2- without battery of bios
it should work.

Hi I have a problem with

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error hope this helps

How can I solve

Do you have the latest driver? did you updated your BIOS? try resettingthe the BIOS to default

If all the above fails, dont worry it's not a big issue unless you use very soffisticated and old RS 232 COM devices.

Have fun!

No power

Hi there,

Check for power supply power. Remove it from the motherboard and short or connect the green plus the black wire beside it. if the power supply's fan turns, then there's a problem with the motherboard.

Check for loose connection between the power supply and the system board. Apply WD-40 or contact cleaner on the contacts (mainly, this is a 24pin array connection) then unplug replug it to the motherboard.

Might as well check also for the power button's connection. Temporarily connect the reset switch to that of the power switch to check if the switch is the defect. Connect everything and switch it on.

Replug the memory modules including the processor but make sure you have a thermal compound handy to replace the gray/white paste-like matter between the heatsink and the actual processor.

Please do notify me if you need clarification, i'd be willing to provide a followup.

Hope this helps,
