Baby Lock Esante Questions & Answers
I have an Esante ESe2.
Since the needle broke, it could have knocked your machine out of time--requiring service. FIRST, try this: Remove the upper thread from the machine, ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning. Frequently, when the thread "jumps" out of the thread path (or wraps around a guide or the spool), the thread will stitch about an inch and then break. If you watch the upper thread when you are stitching, do you see the thread tightening, tightening, tightening and then Snap?As far as the bobbin installation, you would need to consult your owner's manual.
Do I oil my baby lock esante
A lot of newer computerized machines do not require oiling. Oiling improperly could damage the machine. You should probably contact a Baby Lock technician before attempting to oil your machine.

Do The ESE ESante Baby Lock hoops fit the ESI ESante Baby Lock machines
The Babylock Esante ESE1 and ESE2 hoops are not compatible with the Esante ESI1 or ESI2 hoops. The Babylock ESI1/2 used the same hoops as the Brother PC7000 and PC7500. The ESE1/2 use the hoops that are compatible with the Brother PC6500 and PE700 series embroidery machines.
I wish that I had better news for you. This site has hoops for sale for both the ESI1 and the ESE1: http://www.allbrands.com/categories/871 . If you need hoops for either machine, use the compatibility data on each machine type to help you find more vendors that may have the embroidery hoops.

Can I get any kind of converter to use CD instead of card in older Babylock?
I,m not sure but I believe that Brother PE Design will work. You will need a computer in order to use it. This program will change all of the embroidery programs to the card that you use. It also gives you an ability to create your own artistic embroidery. It is a very good investment. Many sewing machine businesses carry this and you could probably order it from the internet.

How do I unlock it?
Normally when you have a jam with material the machine with lock up to prevent further damage. Once the jam is removed "completely" the machine will unlock on its own. But, on occasions it will not. Unplug the machine from the power & any hardware you have attached to it such as a computer. Allow the machine to "rest" for several hours. This allows the lock up to clear from the memory & the machine should preform when you return it to the power. Also remove the bed plates around the needle area & check carefully for leftover material, thread, dust, bent parts & replace the needle. Good luck.
How can you reset touchscreen on esante
Sounds like the computer circuit board that controls the touchscreen is locked up. Remove all digital attachments from the machine such as laptop, memory card for patterns, embroidery bed, etc. Turn off machine and unplug from power. Wait 5 minutes, plug the power cord back in. Turn on machine. If you are still having problems find the factory reset button provided you can get to it. You can consult the manual for the location of the reset button. If you don't have a manual go online to Babylock.com to locate the correct one for your machine. When all else fails seeks the advise of an authorized dealer.
Letter characters won't change
