Will not advance the fabric.
I'm assuming you've already checked to see if your stitch length is set
to a normal stitch length, and that the presser foot is down when you're
sewing.
The bad news is that you may have a broken gear in the feed dogs. I
would take the machine apart as far as you can using the manual (pull
the needleplate, pull the bobbin case),
and use a penlight and dental mirror to inspect everything possible,
clean (vacuum, no canned air!) and oil per the manual again, put in a
new needle, and try again. But I really suspect a bad gear here. It's a
common way for the less expensive machines to die.
When doing appliqueson a shirt,
Wrong needle perhaps? if the shirt is a knit then you should be using a ball point needle to sew it, probably a size 70 or 80 for jersey weight. You probably should back the project with a tear away stabiliser too to give the machine grip and hold the fabric while stitching.

Is it not coming down to the needle or is it just not going through the eye of the needle? My mother bent her's once and I have to adjust the position of the needle just right to get mine to work. There is also a chance that the little hook itself has been bent or even broke. It's so small that it can be hard to see. My grandmother broke her's after several years. She couldn't figure out why it stopped working and took her "baby" to get a "check up". They told her that the hook had broken just enough to not hook the thread.
If you bought it from a baby lock dealer there is a life time warranty on it. If not it shouldn't cost much to have serviced.
Hope this helps.
Touch Screen in my Baby Lock Ensante is off to the right.
Did you try touching the screen and while holding your finger on the screen, turn the main power switch off and back on?
You need to go to a BabyLock dealer to insure your warranty. They will have the best price for parts and you need to ask them if they have repaired this problem before and how much does it usually cost for the parts.
I have had a BL Ellegante for about 5 years and have never had a problem.
If you cannot locate your warranty information, you can contact BL- there is a website and a toll-free number for customer service. They have always answered my questions promptly and with courteously.

Hi.
Touch the screen and keep holding the finger on the screen, while turning the main power off and then back on at the same time, the screen should go in self calibration.

It sounds like you need to update the device driver for you card reader. You can go to Baby Lock USA web page and do a search for driver updates. Also the USB cord for the reader/writer card is specific for this device so don't throw it away until you try updating the driver for your particular Windows version.
