Won't work at all-esante ese baby lock
Check that the button used to snip your thread at the end of your seam is not stuck. Mine will sometimes stick and if I just touch it again it will again activate and the red start/stop button will work again.
I have an Esante ESI-2 sewing machine which has
Probably thread wrapped round the upper needlebar area, which has migrated into the bearings of the take up lever and balance. Pretty major surgery required to make the machine whole. Imminently worth it as an esante is a great machine. Take it to your local sewing machine repair person, preferably a Babylock dealer but any competent repair guy should know and recognize this problem. It's a bit like a major overhaul repair on an automabile but should still not cost much more than $100...the machine is worth much more.
Machine jammed estante esi-2 machine wheel will
90% probable the needle arm shaft and bearings are jamming. This requires the needlebar and the take up lever drive to be disassembled from the upper shaft: probably $100 effort by a sewing machine repair person.10% probable the hook mechanism is jammed. The only way to identify the source is to separate the top drive shaft from the bottom drive shaft. Again this is repair shop acitivity but if you want to try it. Take off the end cover, and with a market mark the belt drive gear positions with reference to something static. Slip off the timing belt. If the hand wheel turns then the problem is in the hook area. If not it is in the needlebar area.Either way, your machine is not working and really the best solution is to spend the $$'s at your local sewing machine shop.....unlike an iPad or iPhone you can have these machines fixed locally.
My esante model ESI-2 has
hi, when the balance wheel is difficult to turn, the machine is letting you know there's a problem, it may only be minor but minor problems are easier to fix than big problem & less costly
since it's a baby lock esante I would really suggest that the machine needs to be checked by a repair technican, that can give the machine the check up it needs
Lcd screen has lines in
The lcd screen gets power from main board. At the back of the LCD screen there is a ribbon cable. That cable is communication between screen and control board. If this cable gets loose or if the cable is getting shorted then, this problem can occur. The lcd screen front panel has to be removed out. Then this ribbon cable connection has to be checked. This cable is is a plug in cable. You can just pull the cable out from lcd screen.Check the cable and reconnect it.Keep the machine unplugged, while doing this. Then see.If the same problem is there, then the other end of the cable, which is connected on main control board is causing the problem. For that the machine has to be disassembled, to reach main control board. If the cable is checked ok, then it can be problem with lcd screen itself. But in most of the cases, the ribbon cable gets loose or shorted.------ Check out. This should help.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.
I have a BabyLock Esante 2 machine and the LCD
The best advice I can give to you is find a comparable unit to the one that you have. If the cost of fixing yours is close to half of the cost of purchasing a new unit then I would suggest purchasing a new unit. However, if there is a big difference between the cost of repair and the cost of buing a new one then repair it.
I have looked at many comparable machines to come up with the above advice. However, our machine has some many different things, you would need to compare in order to look at the price of units with the functions that you want as you will be the one using the unit.

Embroiders but not right
If this is happening no matter which design you try the machine needs to be serviced.
You have a computorized machine and repair has to be done by an authorized BL dealer.
