I,m not sure but I believe that Brother PE Design will work. You will need a computer in order to use it. This program will change all of the embroidery programs to the card that you use. It also gives you an ability to create your own artistic embroidery. It is a very good investment. Many sewing machine businesses carry this and you could probably order it from the internet.

Normally when you have a jam with material the machine with lock up to prevent further damage. Once the jam is removed "completely" the machine will unlock on its own. But, on occasions it will not. Unplug the machine from the power & any hardware you have attached to it such as a computer. Allow the machine to "rest" for several hours. This allows the lock up to clear from the memory & the machine should preform when you return it to the power. Also remove the bed plates around the needle area & check carefully for leftover material, thread, dust, bent parts & replace the needle. Good luck.

Check to be sure you have not inadvertently dropped the feed dogs on your machine. Dropped feed dogs are used for 'darning' or 'free motion quilting.' Ester, You will need to upgrade to Palette 8,0 or NeXT versions that are compatible with Windows 7. I'm not sure if Palette 7 upgrade will work either. Other option, may be to get old computer with Windows XP and the right Parallel printer port with the card reader security device for Palette software to work. Use a needle 1 size larger, fraying and splitting usually caused by the needle.

Model number of esante? On the back of machine on the silver sticker. BLN, update available Baby Lock Esante Model BLN Update Version 1 03 you will need a computer running XP to do this update. Once done it will talk to newer windows operating systems. No Apple products even with compatibility software

I presume your question is about palette? The security device (reader writer box) must be plugged in while software is in use.

Sounds like the computer circuit board that controls the touchscreen is locked up. Remove all digital attachments from the machine such as laptop, memory card for patterns, embroidery bed, etc. Turn off machine and unplug from power. Wait 5 minutes, plug the power cord back in. Turn on machine. If you are still having problems find the factory reset button provided you can get to it. You can consult the manual for the location of the reset button. If you don't have a manual go online to Babylock.com to locate the correct one for your machine. When all else fails seeks the advise of an authorized dealer.

When your BabyLock Esante ESi2 is otherwise working fine but the LCD display screen begins to grow darker and you find you just can't read it, the only thing you can do is replace the BabyLock Esante ESi2 LCD screen, or buy a new machine. Try adjusting your tension a little higher. I believe it's a thread bunching problem that a higher tension might solve. You might want to hold the fabric a little taught front and back as your sewing. that might help too.

The presser foot does not move, the feed dogs do.

Pull both the top thread and the lower thread bobbin off. Check if there is thread caught in anywhere along the running mechanism, especially in the lower bobbin area. If there is no thread caught make sure the tension on the thread is not to tight.
