WARRANTY INSTRUCTIONS

According to the directions: Press B - bottom left button,to go into Alarm Mode. Press D - upper right button - to activate the alarm and press again to activate the Chime, which shows on bottom left as a bell. To activate these press D. To DEACTIVATE them press D again. Press B 3 times to return to Time Telling Mode. It took a few tries, but D and B are the keys to stopping that annoying chime!

yes,you take the rubber backing off the watch...on the back you'll see 4 screws...you'll need a jewelers screwdriver to get them out....you'll see a large batter on top and UNDERNEATH it is a SMALL batter...one is for the digital and the other for the hands.....

throw it out and buy a new one cheap-skate

Activating/Deactivating Hourly Chime

1. From "Normal Time Mode", press and hold "D" (Alarm) and
at the same time press "C" (Date) once. Hourly chime symbol,
( a house shape) appears in "chime" windows to indicate
the hourly chime will beep every hour.

Activatin/Deactivating Alarm

2. With "D" (Alarm) still pressed, press "C" (Date) again. Alarm symbol
( a clock shape with waves above it) appears in the
upper right to indicate the 24 hour alarm is now activated.

[I assume this "toggles" between off and on states,
so performing it again should turn off the alarm]

To set the date and day on your Armitron 20/4591TT watch, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the mode button until the display starts flashing.
2. Use the hour and minute buttons to set the current time.
3. Press and release the mode button to move to the date setting.
4. Use the hour and minute buttons to set the current date.
5. Press and release the mode button to move to the day setting.
6. Use the hour and minute buttons to set the current day of the week.
7. Press and release the mode button to exit the setting mode.

This is the most likely cause Tip & How-To about Watches Changing Watch Batteries Lots of posters ask "what is the battery in my (name of watch)" with a view to changing it yourself. This is a bad idea for many reasons. You don't have the tools or knowledge to remove a rotary screw on back, or the gasket sealant for a waterproof watch. Some fashion watches have 4 traditional screw and need professional grade jeweler screwdrivers. Also, there are about 20 batteries commonly used in watches, in various sizes and internal technology, Lithium Ion, Silver Oxide and Manganese Alkaline. If you buy them, you generally have to buy 10! Don't sweat the details. Just take the watch to your local jeweler. They have all the batteries at hand and the tools to remove the back. It is done whilst you wait for $8 to $15!
