Unit will run around 10 mins then it quits
mayby you have dirt and garbage in the fuel tank.it will pick up the garbage and it willn't get the proper amount of fuel to burn.spray pattern must be correct to keep burning correctly.does this unit have a glow bar or does it have a spark plug???? a place to get parts and break downs is

These heaters have built in thermostats. Sometimes they are adjustable sometimes they are not, check to see if your is adjustable and see if this fixes your problem. Also check to see if there is any air restrictions possibly causing the heater to over heat.

Check to see if the flame indicator (photocell) is dirty. Sometimes soot or dust will cover the lens and need tobe wiped off.
Also when these have been sitting for awhile mice or other rodents can build nests inside the housing which can cause problems as well as afire hazzard.

A worn nozzle creates a spray pattern, where a good nozzle creates a fog. With a coarse spray pattern poor combustion results in an off color flame, . The photocell doesn’t like the color, sends a signal to the computer which shuts everything down. That’s the job of the electronics.
Forced Air Kerosene Space Heater Spark plug
I have an older COOP 50,000 BTU forced air kerosene heater. I tried burning #2 in it. Result was rapid fouling of the spark plug. I removed the ground electrode from the plug allowing the spark to jump to the shell. It has never fouled the plug again, runs perfect.
