Machine runs full cycle without water!
The most common reason for this problem is the inlet valve (Solinoid valve) has failed and does not open when the DW timer tells it to before each wash and rinse cycle.
That valve is just inside the place where the hot water supply hose connects to the dishwasher.
There can be other causes but this is by far the most common reason.
Good Luck!

Heated dry light won't turn off.
If you cannot make the light shut off by running the cycles up and down and the heater has shut off, then it is just a malfunction in the control board. Try unplugging the Dishwasher, wait 5 minutes and plug it in again and in the meantime pray hard. Hopefully it will shut off.

I have a GE PDW 8200 Dishwasher and there is
If it is older, the pump may not be draining the machine completely. The impellers, which is what acually moves the water could be clogged with yuck and could be cleaned if you can take the machine apart. If you call the repairman, he will likely replace the pump and motor.

Dishwashing powder/liqud will not dissolve
Is your dishwasher filling and draining? The detergent should mix, completely with the wash water and there should be no residue of just detergent. Make certain that the machine is filling and draining properly, otherwise, call the repairman.

I set the cycle and push start and the breaker kicks off
It could actually be the breaker itself. If not, there is a "short" in the machine. The likely place for the short is the water inlet solenoid valve which is replaceable. If not there, then you need to call the repairman.

Water not draining and glasses look filmy
Call the repairman unless you are comfortable replacing the pump. It sounds like the pump is getting old and weak. The other possibility is that the pump impellers are caked with yuck. Depending on the manufacturer, they are replaceable, if they aren't cleanable.

You will have to check all the connections visually. Since you know how to use a meter, see where the current stops. See if there is current coming from the control board to the pump. the water inlet solenoid valve should "free flow" water into the machine. the pump recirculates the water for the wash and rinse cycles and pumps the water out of the machine to the drain. It is more likely that that water inlet solenoid valve is where the problem is.

Low flow ge dishwasher
Removal of the washarm is easy, just remove the dishrack and pull it out. Just wash it with a nylon brush in the sink.

GE Dishwasher leaking water in the bottom water
If it seems to be the water pump, it may be the hose, unless the pump cracked. You will have to pull the machine out, run a cycle and observe to see where the water is leaking from. If the pump housing is cracked you will need a new pump, but if it is only the hose, go to the hardware store and get an appropriate repalcement hose and a new clamp, if you do it yourself, otherwise call the repairman.

Water won't drain it just sits in still water from the kitchen
Your drain is clogged! Start with a good drain cleaner (I like "Works", but Liquid Plumber is fine). if it doesn't clear with te drain cleaner (for goodness sakes, please follow the directions on the bottle to the letter) then call the plumber.
