Try replacing the defrost termination control, it is a small disk shaped sensor with two wires coming out of it. It is located on the outlet end of the evaporator, usually on the suction line. Hope this helps, good luck.

If you can't see the damper door, it is most probably shut, possibly frozen or not working. Top of middle section, allows airflow from freezer to fridge part. Switch thermostat off, wait 20 mins, switch back on. If damper doesn't open, check stat and damper motor.

You can remove the frame around the dispenser by pulling it gently and then you access to the screws that hold the dispenser in place. Could be a spillage behind the frame. Good Luck.

contact the maker on the web and see if it is still available go to and appliance repairer who is authorised to repair you machine and ask them if it is possible to get original sealed unit

Mabe there's some air in the line. Let the water run a bit and see if the hiss stops.

Just like in the ice maker, you will find a solenoid valve. If you hear the valve click open and close when trying the water. If you do not here the valve open and close, check the switch and valve.

Is your thermostat working correctly? meaning it does turn off the unit. if it does let it off for a few minutes then slowly start to move to #1 and you should hear a click let it run in that setting and see if temperature is ok let it run for about 12 hours and check your temp. if ok just let it there if still freezes you need to replace the thermostat also make sure the fan cooling the compressor is also clean.

It's quite normal if freezing is not reach on 40 degree, it's already high temperature. Remember the lower the temperature setting the higher the freezing of refrigerator, the higher the setting the lesser the freezing.
