Honeywell RTH8580WF WiFi Thermostat - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Wiring Honeywell 9580 to old furnace with no C wire
This is not going to be easy. Check the wiring in the wall to look for the third wire. If they did not run one, you have to run new wire to the furnace and thermostat. If they stapled that wire to the walls inside studs, then it is going to be even harder to run the new wire. Once you run that new wire then you have to locate the connection in the furnace that has the common (c) wire for the transformer. Check you tube to see if the have any how to video.

No wifi connection
The WiFi has to be on. to get to the main programming, press fan & the up arrow @ the same time for about 5 seconds. Now that you are in the programming mode, you need to scroll through to, I believe level 39 and turn it ON. This will enable the WiFi. Then press done to get out of programming mode. Your thermostat should start searching now as long as there is WiFi to connect to. Then you need to register the stat. Hope that helps.

Replacing a 2-pole baseboard heating thermostat
Here at home where I reside we have an old school thermostat that has the mercury bulb that acts like a sensor, and in other cases it could just be as easy as replacing the batteries in the unit itself, usually a lid that hides them, sometimes it works

Where is battery on a Honeywell LR95329 Thermostat Base please?
They all hide in the thermostat base.
Load on the contacts is 24 vac standard, 30 volts max. the battery however is a standard AA or AAA Duracell battery, it is not 30 volts.... Those are available almost everywhere, You can pry the front of the thermostat from its wall mount sub base and see the batteries inside... just replace them.
