There are two ways I can think of to reset the BIOS password. 1) Get the password from your friend or have him contact ASUS to get it changed. 2) Remove the BIOS battery for a few seconds to reset the BIOS.

I have not had the opportunity to do any internal repairs on this particular laptop, but after 3 years as a Dell Field Rep I can tell you that it is not something for everybody to try.

if you're asking "can it be done" then the answer is yes but it is not easy. if your asus is still under warranty, adding an msata drive or RAM on the otherside of the motherboard will void your warranty, if that is not your question, please elaborate.

The problem is either defect ram or vga. Typical on this model. Try replacing the ram first, pretty easy to do.

The G-series are the gamer (RoG) series by Asus. It might be a G53, atleast that one has a 15" lcd. Of course there are previous RoG's with 15" too, and they tend to hold their cost-level.

your bios needs to be reset all you do is open laptop and remove small battery its like the same size as a penny and take out for 30sec and then put back in if that dont work you need to get your gpu checked it might be overheating an reballing work might be needed or feflow i hope that helps

Look for a program called Sound Booster or one called DFX. DFX is my favorite because it not only boosts the volume, but lets you add other effects to enhance you sound as well. There is a free version. but to get all the effects you have to upgrade to the paid. If audio is important to you, check it out.
