The date/time cannot be deleted once it is embedded in the image. To turn off the date/time deselect the date/time stamping by following procedure:

• When selecting [Date Stamp] , [Recording Pixels] is set to 1600 x 1200 pixels and the compression (image quality) to [Fine].
• When the shooting mode is set to <Movie> (), settings for inserting the date and time cannot be made.
• The following explanations are provided based on the assumption that the [Shooting Mode] is set to <Program AE> ().

1. Press the <Power> button on the camera.

2. Press the <FUNC./SET> () button.

3. A screen like the one below will appear on the monitor.

Select [Date Stamp] () in the [Recording Pixels] section .
Press the <MENU> () button.


4. A screen like the one below will appear on the monitor.

Operate the <directional buttons> left or right to select [Date Stamp] and set it to [Date] or [Date & Time].
Press the <MENU> () button.


5. Press the <FUNC./SET> () button.

6. Make sure that the [Date Stamp] is set and the following screen will appear with the icon () in the lower-left corner of the screen.

7. When shooting with this setting, the date will be embedded in the image as shown below.

warning: The date, its font and color, and the position where it is displayed cannot be changed. Also, dates and times recorded with [Date Stamp] cannot be deleted.

Try extracting the sd card and using a card reader its also much faster.

Most of cameras have a "review" button that looks like playback button on you DVD players and such. You can either delete all pictures in that playback mode or select pictures one at a time. Cameras usually have the DELETE button marked as a trash can symbol. They also ask you to confirm delete, and you will need to mode the cursor to "yes". Alternatively, you can delete images directly from the card. If you computer does not have a card reader, you can buy a USB card reader for under 10 dollars in just about any store that sells electronics.

on the mother board, a fuse is laying, it passes the battery power,test it, if it is open just shot it with a very thin wire.

Your camera uses 2 AA batteries, but if you use Alkaline batteries they will drain very fast. You are better off buying rechargeable batteries as you can recharge them several hundred times, cheaper than Duracell or Energizer Alkaline batteries in the long run. When you say that the camera keeps scrolling when you view a picture do mean it scrolls to the next picture ? If so, you probably have it set to Slideshow which will automatically scroll to the next picture. Go to the main menu and look for Slideshow, if it is on turn it off.

Take out your SD card and check to see that the switch is in the "unlocked" position.

Take out your SD card, turn it over and make sure the switch on the back is not in the "locked" position. Sometimes the switch position can be changed with handled.
