the tv was working fine when i last shut it off but will not turn back on. the standbye light is on and when i hit power the light flashes green a few times then just goes back to red.
I found a way around this problem. When this happens, don't use the remote.
Walk up to the TV, then HOLD DOWN the power button and while the lights are flashing, start pushing the menu button on the TV at the SAME TIME.
Then your screen will turn on. No idea why this works. Just stumbled on it while getting ********** that this TV, I had less than a month, suddely would not come on anymore. I was about to unplug the whole thing to take back to WalMart and just started pushing button combinations and found this worked.

I need a code for an Emerson Model LC320EMX television that can work with my DirecTv remote. I've tried all the ones that were given by DirecTv & none of them worked. Has anyone had the same problem? If so can you tell me what code worked for you? Thank you so much.
I was just reading everyone’s comments regarding not being able to find the Emerson LC320EMXF 32′ LCD TV code for the Comcast DC50X Digital Transport Adapter. I’m using the Sylvania code of 11864 and the Comcast DC50X remote seems to work fine. Hopefully it’ll work for you as well.

Emerson LC320EM82 S LCD TV I purchased this TV a year and 3 weeks ago. It suddenly stopped powering on. When I turn it on the screen comes on for half a second with 3-4 inch white lines across middle of screen the goes and stays in standby mode. The warrenty expired after one year. Emerson won't reply to my requests for assitence. Any ideas would help.
Your not alone with this problem.
I had to fix mine. The warranty is less than impressive.
The trouble is going to be the Power Supply/Backlight Inverter board.

Purchased a brand new emerson 32" LCD HDTV LC320EMXF and can't find a code that works to program the DirectTV remote. The tv is for my 85 year old mother that can only handle using 1 remote. Please help
I got the same TV for my stepdaughter and had the same problem. None of the Emerson codes worked. We use Dish Network but I did the autoscan thing on the remote and found that it was 672 which is listed as a Sylvania. I don't know if it will help in your case but maybe try the Sylvania codes. LC320EM82 Emerson 32 digital/analog LCD TV no audio from tv, including thru home stereo. checked volume on tv, which we never use, and it was all the way up to max - 60. home stereo system is producing sound, and tv picture is fine. I think it just blew the audio fuse, so i took of the back panel, and found only one fuse that I could identify as a fuse (long tubular silver fuse like you would see in a car). I am going to replace that to see if the problem, but my feeling is that is the overall power fuse - could be wrong - have never worked on tv's. Anything you could lend to keep me from taking it in. thanks
One way to find out if that is the AC Fuse remove fuse then plug set back up try turning set back on without fuse. Do you have external input jacks on side of TV for Headset or ear plug for Audio?

emerson 32in flat panel has a resolution mismatch with my ps3
I had the same prob,first thing u need to do is to hold on ps3 power button for 4-6 sec until the ps3 resets and turns off.Next unplug and replug yr hdmi/red white and yellow wires in.Then turn ps3 back on it should adjust in 8seconds.

What size screws do I need for an Emerson 32" Tv
tehy can be Metric M5 or M6, you can get them from HD or LOWE's, just get 1/2" or longer to try out, it is only about 35~50 cents each.

resolution mismatch when i hook up my ps3 to it.
hook the appropriate inputs (red white and yellow) on the side of the video input on the emerson tv. Power up tv and be sure it is on the video input screen. Be sure your PS3 is plugged in as necessary, PS3 is in the off position. Turn PS3 on and hold the power button on for 7 seconds until you hear the PS3 beep at you twice (wait for 2nd beep) at that point the PS3 should boot up on your tv monitor - you are resetting the resolution by holding the button down

when i plug in the hdmi cord to the 32in Emerson tv from my ps3.My tv video goet black and hdmi say (resolution mismatch change device resolution)What do i do?
You'll have to change the resolution on your PS3 to match your TV resolution by going to settings>video settings.

my tv says that i have a resolution mismatch and to change the devices resolution but i don't know how to do that.
I've seen this before when using an HDMI connection to a PS3. You need to hook the PS3 up with Red, White, Yellow cables and then access the PS3's display options. You need to match the resolution sizes for both devices. There should only be a few options in this menu so do some trial and error to find the one that looks best :)
