You'll have to remove the top panel so you can loosen the baffles and get your coins out. Either that or take the back panel off and remove the drum altogether, which ever you find easier.

How do i clean the lint trap?

Yes, this is a problem for our Nexxt dryer as well. This may work for you. I took an old garden hose, cut about three feet off it, then took a cap from spray paint can, cut a hole in it the diameter of garden hose. Put the hose in the cap. The spray paint cap fits nicely on my shop vac. Took the shop vac in the laundry room and attached the spray cap with the garden hose inserted and vacuumed the lint from the slot using the end of the garden hose. Worked pretty well. If you don't have a shop vac you may be able to stick a flexible hose in the end of you home vac and hold it with your hand to seal it. That should be able to remove most of the lint. Good luck.

No Heat? Everything else works

Dear Judi, Using an electric meter, begin checking the various thermostats and the fuse for continuity. Also, check the heater coils. In all cases, remove the wires from the part before checking it, and be certain to remember from whence you took teach wire. You should find one of the the thermostats, or the fuse, or the heating element is "open" and needs replacement. God bless your effort.

My Bosch Nexxt 500 dryer stopped heating. All other functions work fine except heat. I've checked continuity on heating element & overtemp breaker- both OK. What else could be the problem? Fuse?

CONSIDER THIS BOTH LEGS OF AC MUST WORK TO GET HEAT FOR DRYER Maybe you don''t have power to both legs of your receptacle. Both legs of the 220 volt AC have to work go get heat. Only one leg is used to run the motor etc.. Your motor runs so this can fool you into believing that the electrical connection is ok when it really is not. Your dryer is on a double circuit with two breakers. If one fails you lose one 110 volt leg which can be the one giving the full 220 Volt needed for the heater. This happens quite frequently and people mistakenly replace heating coils. You could have a bad breaker, one of the two. You must check this first before assuming anything else. Get help if you are uncomfortable with potentially deadly voltages

Most Bosh dryer have a high limit sensor inside. Very easy to fix. disconnect power, remove back cover. there is lots of screws. usually torx head. you will see at the bottom of the dryer from the back side that there is 2 wires going to a round black "snap disk". there will be a bottom in the middle push the button in. if this dose not fix your problem you should get a in to fix it.

I have a Bosch Nexxt 500 andjust replaced the heating element less than 6 months ago. A week ago it stopped heating up again. Took the back panel off, pushed the reset button but now when I turn it on

Sounds like a bad thermal fuse or thermostat, check all of them with a multi meter for continuity. as for the heater going out I would check ur venting inside and out the machine. the fuses and heater blow out for a reason? Usually due to overheating issues? I suspect ur lint build up is the problem?

How do I fix if HEAT ELEMENT,CUT OUT SWITHC AND HIGHLIMIT THERMOSTAT ARE NEW BUT STILL NO HEAT?

First, turn off the breaker then back on. It should be a two poled breaker that is connected by a bar. Chances are this is where the problems lies. If not there, inspect the wiring from the outlet to the back of the dryer. The wires could have burned iOS come loose. This is retry basic since you have done all the hard work. Let me know if this gets it and we will pursue further.

How do I remove lint that gets past filter

There are brushes that run through the exhaust like a chimney sweep, You can also do that by hand. What ever you do, there will be a lot of loose stuff left in the pipe; so don't clean the outside vent until last.

Bosh dryer overheating

sounds like its compacted with fluff inside the casing... you'll have to undo the screws that hold the casing on... slide it off... clean out all the fluffy then vacuum out any dust too.. before you replace the casing switch on and run to see if it still overheats.. I have have found this to be the case on several occasions not just mine but friends dryers too... hope it helps...
