What kind of strings are best for washburn X 10
the washburn X10 is an electric guitar.
first thing you you want to make sure of is that you ask for electric guitar strings

I have a Washburn WCD18DCE guitar and I need to change the battery
Depending on the year, it could be a couple different places. There could be a little battery compartment on the outside body of the guitar. Sometimes they are separate from the other electronic controls. Sometimes that are part of the controls or even part of the guitar jack. But if it is on the outside of the body, it will have a little door that pops open when you push a tab. You just have to look and see if there is a little rectangular door. If you don't have a little door, then it is likely tucked inside the guitar, just inside the sound hole. If it is in there, then you will probably see a little cloth pouch with wires coming out. Thats where the 9v battery is kept and plugged in. It's usually held to the body with velcro.

Your best bet is to take it into a reputable music store that sells everything from custom made high
end modell guitars, electric, acoustic/acoustic electric to classical. Get an appraisal by a professional DO NOT GO TO A PAWN SHOP OR ANY BUY AND SELL ONLINE SITES (Craigslist, Kijiji, eBay etc.) They will either low ball you to try and rip you off or won't have a clue what they're talking about. Long & McQuade has always been solid for me and there's this really nice high end music store in my city that are proffessional musicians (university degrees up the the Ying/Yang)
I doubt this is much help but it's what I would do. The other most obvious is to lookup the Washburn website and most likely they'll have online help via I.M.
