if i remember correctly where the column goes into the floor area , base of scooter , you may have to turn the scooter up on end. there should be a large locking nut that can be tightened up not too tight other wise the steering won't work correctly.Regards

The charger is a 24v 4 amp one stage device. Its an incredibly cheap charger. It consists of a step down transformer, a bridge rectifier, a filer capacitor, and a voltage regulator. Then there is the regulator, if any part of that is fried, you're going to have a hard time finding parts. i really miss the 60's when there were electronic stores on every corner. There used to be a time when you could order your your TV as a kit. You could literally teach your kids something useful at the kitchen table. Quite frankly a 2 amp charger cost $14 4 amp cost $28. The charger puts out 24VDC@4A. Typically my charger [off a Rascal 600t] will charge at 3.5A. It seems that the industry standard is to multiply the amperage by 135% providing that your using the proper gage wire and the temperature is nominal. 3.5A x 1.35 = 4.73 or 5A. So i think a 5A fuse will do it for you
