What hapens when your hover round wont start.
What happens is you won't go anywhere!
Seriously, it is usually a case of bad batteries. Each battery should show at least 12 Volts DC across the terminals. If one or both don't, replace, recharge and you should be good to go. If the batteries are good (over 12 volts), and you get no lights on at all, first check that the circuit breaker isn't tripped. It's a small button located on the base with a flexible cover. Push it to reset, and try again. If it's still dead, then remove the seat and the shroud cover and unplug, and replug every single snap-on connection to insure good contact, and check all fuses. If it is still dead, this means the power controller or the joystick are shot ($$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!). Hoverounds usually have a combo joystick/power control module made by PG Drives, and a new one runs about $1,300.00. If you go on Ebay and search for a PG drive controller, make sure that it is one that has identical connections for your chair, or it won't work. You can usually pick them up for 300-400 bucks. They are very easy to install, just unplug, inplug, and go. If you can find somebody in your area with a similar model, you can unplug their joystick and plug it into your chair. If it works, its the joystick control, if not, it's back to a bad connection.
