The starts up power for some appliances we use at home are
sometimes higher than their actual power. For example a fridge will start with
a power of 2 to 3kva then after start up it goes down to its normal power of
700va to 1kva .
Your inverter will continue to switch off if your if you
battery is
- Low i.e. it is not fully charged
- Has a low ampere rating
The solution is to get a battery with a higher ampere rating
like 200ampere/hour and above, connect it in parallel to the other battery i.e.
the positive terminal to the positive terminal, the negative terminal to the
negative terminal. This additional will accommodate the excess power needed for
the microwave to start up.
Note that it is not advisable, to use this type of power
appliance on a small inverter .Use a battery with the same volt rating i.e. a if you use a 24volts battery get another 24volts battery with a higher ampere rating
