The learn button is located on the garage door opener unit itself that hangs from the ceiling. If you follow the gray antenna up to the unit you will see a red/orange button on the unit. That is the learn button. When you push that button and amber LED will light up either above or next to the learn button. This indicates that the garage door opener is now ready to learn a new device. Press and hold the button you want programed on the garage door opener remote and release it. The garage door opener will click and the garage door opener light will go off and come back on (if the light bulbs are in working order). The amber LED will go out, repeat if you need to program anything else.

There's a gremlin living in your overhead light.....lol. The circuit board in the opener has the timer for the light. There's a component that's beginning to fail on it. Replace the circuit board.

There is an chance you circuit board got a surge. It may need replaced. First try unplugging it for 30 sec and plugging it back in. Garages are generally protected by a gfi plug. Sometime with power outages these trip. Resetting it can also be an easy fix.

You might want to restate your question with a little more clarity and details.

Not sure what your door opener is like but if there has been a local strike, or a power surge , it is possible it has been fried. Probably best to let an electrician take a look at it.
Good Luck

put new battery in them and see if they work .ours the button sticks sometimes and just tap it against something to release it

Craftsman Garage... | Answered on Apr 27, 2015

Watch the lights, make sure they do not flicker or blink when you push the button. If they do, then you need to make a better contact by pointing them straighter. If not, then it's not a sensor problem it's probably force. Describe your issue more detail and I can give you a better answer.
