Generac XP8000E how do you replace the battery charger fuse 1.5 all I can find out is you have to remove the control panel. No manual and can't find any info

Roger, 1st check the voltage going into the Battery Charging Rectifier from the alternator. You should get between 12 Volts DC to 16 Volt DC with the engine running. If you get these results next check the battery. You should get max 13v dc going to the battery. If your battery is not charging on this unit or gets under 12x dc, you need to replace the battery charging rectifier. http://www.generatorguru.com/battery-charging-rectifier-99302775/ If you need other parts you can find them on this page. http://www.generatorguru.com/xp8000e/ Hope this is of assistance to you!

Generac 4000xl runs a few minutes then acts like it's seizing up

Eeeeeeek! Thats not good! Sorta like a grinding sound? If it's under warranty take it in! Might be the "winding" where the electric is created.

My generac 15kw, brand new out off crate, runs on propane, says low voltage any idea of what would cause this!it fires for ten seconds and shuts down! thanks in advance! Ran first day no problem

low voltage can be from incorrect running rpms as it is new out of the box I suggest that you get a service under warranty to sort out any problems
