check all the connections for a loose or corroded joint. the stater could also be bad. check to see if it is charging when running with a meter.

Yes, if at all possible , try to get an impact wrench, air or electric will do. makes the job of removing the blades a lot easier.

use 2 thicknesses of a match book,or .012,,pull the black wire off the coil and start it,if it runs then a safety switch is bad

Try removing the anti backfire valve on the bottom of the carb and cleaning it. They sometimes stick closed due to ethanol gum. Mace sure you hear a click when you turn the switch on. The solenoid which operates the AB Valve could be bad or have a broken wire.

There should be a number on the bearing itself. Take that to your local auto parts and they can cross it over to any number of manufactures.

Changing the belt on the swisher 44' rough cut - mine is a model RTB134412v. You have to remove the belt guard (4 bolts) and then the 6 bolts holding the engine on to the deck. Lift (or tilt) the engine up and loop the 1/2"x50" belt (I got a husky replacement belt at tractor supply) through the wire belt guides and around the engine belt drive. Then loop the belt around the larger blade drive. It takes about 30 mins or so. Hope that helps.

The most likely cause is a bent blade. If the blades are not reasonably straight and balanced it will cause excessive vibration. I suggest addressing this asap. The excess vibration can cause more serious problems if not fixed.

I wish I had an answer. I just bought a Swisher Trail Cutter this weekend (3-27) and have the exact same question. Where does the console assembly mount? On the mower deck? The blades have to be "engaged" in order to operate. I do not have an electric start....it is a pull start....like a simple lawn mower.
