L110backfires in carb
Could be a problem with the ignition timing. Check it's correct and that the ignition advance mechanism is working correctly.

HARD STARTING
Drain the float make sure you have fresh gas. Ethanol gums up the carb. Use Seafoam cleaner to keep running well. Any auto parts store should carry.

I have a John deere 316 with a onan and it will not run unless the choke is almost closed, I have checked the fuel flow and the compression and all seems good. What do you think is wrong?
hello sir, mower will not start or run, runs only when primming, does it have good spark, good compression,or only runs on full choke, are you getting fuel to the engine if not try this, your fuel pump or your carb. is clogged up here is what you can do for a simple repair for the carb, you can remove the air filter and assy, empty fuel tank and clean out tank and line, remove the bowl nut and bowl careful of the gaskets, now spray carb cleaner in the small port holes in the carb steam in the middle of the carb until clean, now spray the bowl nut holes until clean there are three, after cleaning put bowl on the same way you removed it with dip towards front of float, put bow, and fresh gas,you should be good to go,hope this helps.,thank you.~~

Could the spark delay module cause the ignition switch to fail?
Spark delay module? I'm not sure what you're referring to, perhaps the regulator/rectifier? I doubt that's the issue, I'd try checking the gas cap first. Loosen it and run the mower, or it it starts to die, either loosen it quickly, or choke it quickly and a loosen it. The gas tank has to breathe for the fuel system to work properly. If the tank can't vent, the vacuum prevents the fuel from being sucked into the csarburetor by the downward motion of the piston on the intake stroke.

My 5310 will turn over when starting but will not
The fuel filter may be plugged.Try bleeding the fuel system, open the bleeder on top of the filter housing and then pump the hand primer[above the bleeder].If you can't get fuel then you may need a strainer or a check valve, located in the fuel line before the fuel filter. If fuel is not the problem the you need to check and see if there is power to the fuel solenoid in the injection pump while the tractor is cranking,is so replace the fuel shut off solenoid,if not, replace the neutral bypass relay in the fuse panel.

Wont stay running
Clean fuel system from the tank to the carb, drain gas, clean or change fuel lines, change fuel filter(do not attempt to clean out a fuel filter to reuse) last of all the carb needs cleaned. Clean the bowl, needle and seat, air passages, jets etc. ensure all gaskets are usable with no tears, or missing gaskets. Use 89 or greater octane fuel in the future to ensure proper operation of the machine.

How do I replace hay baler belt fasteners?
Depending on model of baler/belts you would shave of enough rubber to get a smooth surface.then put tool in vise with fastener in it,be sure pin is in slot when crimping or fastener teeth will not be squared up in belt and make it hard to get belt pin lined up when putting back together. Is there paper along each side of fastener? If so leave it there until done crimping.

I found a John Deere tractor with serial # T353R
Although I can't find a John Deere T353, there is a T353 tractor made by the company TYM. It's a Korean company. Perhaps it is being sold by a John Deere dealer, or even labeled as a John Deere. I can't speak for its reliability, but they offer a 5 year warranty which is longer than most. If you go with it, make sure the dealer backs it up and stocks parts. Good luck!
