Jd gator overheating
My thought is that you may have a burned out temperature sensor on your radiator. You can find this by simply looking for a plug on the radiator that has a wire chassis connected to it. these things can burn out rather easy and it could have been effected by being hit by debris or other objects that could have caused the sensor to short out. Replace the temp sensor. Usually located near or at the bottom of the radiator. Hope this helps.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the automatic belt tension was blocked with grass so it was not tensioning the belt correctly. It was quite difficult to completely clean it but it has been fine ever since.

I have a Troy-bilt lawn
The two most popular switches that fail are the seat and break, if you have a ohm meter you can test each switch starting from the battery and moving down the line.

My 2510 tracktor won't start
drain the fuel out, get rid of all the fuel additives. take the carburetor off and take apart and clean with spray carburetor cleaner. clean the bolt that goes in to the bottom real good. clean the holes in it good. put it back together and it will be good. it sounds like it has debris in there some where that needs cleaned out.

I have a john deere 2010. with a generator it is a pos ground when I got it someone put a alternator on it dose this change the ground to a negative
To be sure you can use a test light, touch one lead from the test light to the frame of the tractor and the other lead to the Positive + terminal of the battery if it lights up it is negative ground if not touch the negative - terminal of the battery and if it lights it is positive ground.
One thing to check if it was converted to negative ground is that the switched the wire on the ignition coil.
Using your test light you need to turn the key to run position, touch one lead to the negative - terminal of the battery and on the ignition coil touch the Bat + threaded stud it should light and means it correct and do nothing. if not touch the Dist - threaded stud and see if it lights if it does move the wires on the ignition coil to where every wire on the Bat + threaded stud is moved to the dist - and every wire on the Dist - threaded stud is moved to the Bat +.
There is a good chance your charge gauge is backwards also , it swings in the direction the current runs and when it was reversed so did the needle on the gauge and in the case it does not mean it is discharging.

Boom float 244j locks with the joystick in position but the hydralics are not relaxing or floating
Putting the loader lever in the float position and having it raise the machine off the ground is a classic symptom of low pilot pressure. Setting the pilot pressure involves expensive gauges and a special procedure for setting pump output pressure, differential pressure, and standby pressure. I recommend taking your machine to a dealer to have them set.
Pilot pressure for each valve is 406-464 psi.
Minimum boom float engagement pressure is 334 psi.

Bypass RIO/PTO on john deer 1025R jractor
RIO/ PTO switches can not be bypassed. These switches are part of the safety circuits. Trying to bypass switches might cause other electrical problems, which that is NOT what you want.
