How do you clean plates on intex saltwater

Remove the salt cell housing and plug one end. Pour cell cleaning solution into the housing until the cell is covered. The cell is clean when no further bubbles are formed and you can see shiny metal cell plates.Remove the cleaning solution flush the cell with clean water and install the salt cell housing back into the system.

My salt water pump keeps

I suggest you clean the cell according to manual and try it then. If it keeps producing chlorine then keep swimming. If the pump is flowing water fully (if not clean baskets and filter) and it can't keep the chlorine above 2 ppm and you have 30 to 50 ppm stabilizer in the water then there is a major problem in the chlorinator. I don't trust the salt indicator on some chlorinators but that is less important than if it chlorinates. You can but salt test strips. I hope this helps.

Bought saltwater system last year

Keep in mind, as soon as the system detects low flow, it turns the electrolytic cells off to prevent from burning them up.. If you have good flow and still get this alarm, check the flow sensor for dirty, stuck, defective or broken. See picture below..

Help brown pool water, high iron content in well

your alkalinity is way too high. It shouldn't be above 7.8... 7.4 - 7.6 is ideal. I use muriatic acid to lower my ph. Also, your alkalinity is too high. should be between 80 and 120.There is a sequestering agent you can use to try and drop the metals out of the water, if any are present. You stated you had high iron. However, before tackling the iron, you need to get your ph under control. Chances are if you get your ph and alkalinity in line, your water will look a whole lot better. If it is still cloudy, I would use a floc product.

I have a sand filter and my levels say ideal but water is real cloudy after adding chlorine

Take a sample to a pool shop and find out. If the pool has been green you may have dead algae floating around, a sand filter will never take that out. You need to flock it or new water. Then there is the toy you call a sand filter, OK when everything is perfect but small filters and pumps just won't handle a very dirty pool.

Hi i have a 18 x 48 above ground intex frame pool

Hello,
the amount of salt that they reccomend in the book is just a starting point
You need to get a salt test kit that reads in #'s not colors
Get your pool to as close to 3000ppm as possible
lower than 2800ppm and you will not produce enough chlorine
any higher than 3500ppm and you can trigger high salt alarm, have bad tasting water, or even get cloudy water
Like you have done, when adding salt , filter only for 6 hours or so to fully disolve

Intex pure spa led display is reading all 8s and every indicator lights are on but nothing works this is the pure spa model number ssp-10-1 & ssp-h-10

Sorry to hear that you have been the victim of a common plague associated with the inter spa. if your unit is no longer in warranty then you will have to buy the new head. The head being the part held in place by the three hex socket screws. Remove the screws, lift the head and unplug the harness, when the new one arrives just install in reverse order. this happened to me and my replacement head is still going strong three years later. look up intel parts on the internet and find the part you need and order direct. my replacement head cost $34 then.

Hallo I bought the Filter

I assume you mean the motor start/run capacitor? These can be obtained as a spare part from the machine manufacturer and the motor manufacturer (if different). Official spare parts tend to be very expensive. Any capacitor of the correct value and working voltage will serve the purpose and in the case of a single component containing two capacitors then two separate components could be used. The main problem is non-OE components often don't physically fit well and require some modification to the mounting/wiring arrangements. Non-OE components can often be sourced from a motor specialist or good electrical factor. If the component is marked with the maker's name and a part number it could be possible to obtain the correct part more cheaply direct from them.

Why does my intex saltwater generator have

Could be a pump issue, debris in the impeller will cause flow issues or other damage to the diffuser may also IF you have air in the pumps basket it might have a restriction in the supply line. you could try using the camera on your phone and take a video or pictures of the impeller after you drain the tank to see if there is an obstruction. or just split the pump and inspect. the reason I recommend this is because this is a common failure with heaters as it has a pressure switch and a plugged filter or impeller can cause fault codes or erratic behavior and can be a simple fix with little or no out of pocket expense. see the pictures I attached to get an Idea on how and what to look for on my display pump (hayward super pump) Jay the pool pump motor repair guy Longwood Florida need more help ? just ask and pictures help me help you. did we fix it ? let me know I love praise. sam_0633-ny1m141odkrpusamo2f1ctg0-1-0.jpg sam_0634-ny1m141odkrpusamo2f1ctg0-1-2.jpg sam_0635-ny1m141odkrpusamo2f1ctg0-1-5.jpg
