Dishwasher won't turn off goes
Hello,
The SHU models have a problem with the control board. I'll bet if you take apart the door, remove the control board it will have a burned spot on on the back side.
Good Luck

There is a film on all the dishes and glasses.
If you have hard water, glasses can look spotted and cloudy even after cleaning. Sometimes changing the dishwasher detergent can help. The easiest solution to clearing up glasses that start to look cloudy is toadd some vinegar to the bottom of the dishwasher before you start a cycle. Simply add 1 cup of white vinegar and it will clear up your glasses very well.
You should see marked improvement after the first time you do this. If they are not crystal clear then simply repeat the process until all of the cloudiness is gone. In fact I recommend to using a little vinegar in each cycle to maintain the clarity of the glass.
Note: you can pre-test this by rubbing some vinegar on an individual glass with a cloth. If you cannot remove the cloudiness by soaking it and rubbing vinegar on it then it is possible that the glass is etched due to harsh or cheap dishwasher detergent and vinegar will not solve the problem.
Other things to try: CLR on the spray nozzles to loosen up cloggs.Check the filters to be sure they are clear.

The dishwasher does not drain, i just replace my
Hello,
Welcome to FixYa.
I just came accross your post and immediately I thought, " drain plug in garb not punched out" this is very common when a new garb or dishwasher is installed..so much If I had a dollar for every one I saw or heard about I could be paid a couple of trip charges.
If you haven't already done so, remove the drain hose from the garb and knock out the stop inside the spout. See your installation guide/owners manual ( for the garb/disposer ) if you still have it, that should show you "where" and "how". Let me know either way and I'll help further if necessary.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)

Dishwasher will not fill with
Check that your supply faucet is open, Check if there is a screen in the supply line, these can become blocked due to scale deposits from the mains. If there is no screen check that the inlet solenoid valve has not got blocked. If none of the above help, check that there is power getting to the solenoid valve when the machine is supposed to be on the fill cycle. If no power is betting to the valve, the timer might ba faulty. (You can try hand filling the machine and see if it goes through a cycle, at least up to the rinse stage, this will tell you if the timer control is working).

The dishwasher will not turn
Have you checked that there is a working power feed? Have you checked all external fuses including the one in the plug if there is one? It could be a number of things, If there is power getting to the washer You then need to dismantle and check internal fuses and also make sure that the flood sensor has not operated due to water leaks as this disables the dishwasher. More details needed.
