Top 20 Bosch WFLI 2440 Front Load Washer - Page 8 Questions & Answers

Which model dryer do you have?

On some Bosch dryers, these lights will flash to indicate a overheating error. It can be caused by a lint build up, a problem with the temperature limiter sensor or the thermostat. A wiring problem between the sensor (or thermostat) and the main control board can also cause the error. First unplug the dryer. Clean out any lint, including in the exhaust hose. Open the back of the dryer and remove any lint from the unit. Check if the dryer works.

If the error persists, you'll need to check the wiring and wiring harness connections and the sensors. Please add a comment with the model number if you'd like me to see if I can find the parts diagrams.

I hope this helps.

Washing machines these days are as much computer as an electro-mechanical device and as such contain sensitive cmos electronics that are easily damaged by voltage surges or spikes.

It is usual to protect the laptop and desktop computers with surge-protectors but it isn't generally recognised that most computerised appliances need similar protection - radios, tv sets, top boxes, washers and even the modern fridge...

A surge protector won't protect against every surge but every little helps and when a household has most things protected it produces a sort of increased herd immunity.

I suggest you call an engineer to your washer and if the repair is going to be expensive try claiming the cost from the power company.

maybe the wire connected to it or the button responsible for the turbo switch is destroyed or not functional anymore.Try to ask an expert on how to disassemble your washing machine besides don't disassemble directly without the supervision of anyone knowledgeable of that certain thing and if nothing else will be done then that's the time to contact the manufacturer of the certain appliance
