The Start/Pause button merely pauses or reactivates the Child Lock feature. With the Child Lock feature paused by pressing and holding the Start/Pause button for 5 seconds, press Menu. E3 error code indicates here that the washing machine has detected that the door on your washing machine is not shut and that can not start a wash cycle. Keep it simple; firstly, Check the sensors, water level especially as it gets clogged with congealed powder etc. Check the drain pump for debris.
