Hi,when starting the machine on normal wash the
If it's over filled it won't spin.
The fault is most likely either with the water level sensor or with the filling solenoid. Both are cheap parts but note the caveat of "most likely". If you buy and fit the parts with no improvement you cannot return them, but a Bosch repair agent can try them and remove them if they're not the cause. The worst case is a failed pcb, but repairing your machine will still be cheaper than replacing it. Barring occasional faults, Bosch washing machines last longer than average.

There are 2 ways:
1. Tip machine on its back and remove the sump hose from the bottom of the tub, and root around inside. This option doesn't give you much play.
2. Remove the from of the machine and the heater element.
1. remove soap drawer and undo resessed screw
2. remove kick strip and remove screws behind it
3. remove door seal band and front of door seal
4. slide front panel down and towards you to remove.
5. remove heater element to gain access to inner drum.
With the sump hose also off you should be able to remove the foreign object.
