Bosch Exxcel WFO 2465 Front Load Washer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
What is a plastic coupler
a piece of plastic that couples/connects two items together, think of it as a link in a chain.-each link couples to the nextA piece of material (plastic in your case) fabricated to affix one or more materials to another. Just about every coupler is fabricated for a specific application. Audio, video, various type hardware, plumbing etc if you need one it is likely you need an exact replacement but not always.... good luck
Got a Bosch WFO 2460,

Bosch Exxcel did not spin
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry but I do not have the decode for F18 for your particular machine but for similar models F18 indicates a 'pump/drain out time'. I would therefore suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my guidance notes for checking both the drain filter and the drain motor ;-0)
-------------------------------------
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play!
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!
Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Bosch excell 1400 won't drain although the pump is
If you are certain that there is no blockage or restriction anywhere and the filter is clear, then I would suggest you replace the pump to solve the problem.
They can work intermittently sometimes, due to wear on the pump impellor.
Wont spin
Hello,
There
are several reasons that a washing machine won't drain or spin. The
cause could be something as easy as a clog or something difficult that
will need a licensed repairman. Start with the simplest possible cause
and work down to the more difficult causes.
Challenging Instructions And Things You'll Need:
-
Screwdriver,Flashlight,Voltmeter,Wrenches,Bucket,Rags or mop.
-
A
washing machine won't spin if the water can't drain. Check hoses for
any kinks or clogs that may prevent the water from draining. If a hose
has kinks, try to straighten out the kinked hose. If it can't be
straighten sufficiently, replace the hose. If hoses are not kinked,
check for clogged hoses. This can be done by using the screwdrivers to
remove the hoses and looking for clogs or running a water hose through
the clogged hose to remove the clog. Use the rags and bucket to clean
up the water that comes out of the hoses when they are disconnected.
Once the clog is cleared, put the drain hose back into place. The
washer should drain and spin now if a clogged or kinked hose was the
problem.
-
If
the washer still won't drain or spin, check to see if the lid is not
closing all the way or if the lid switch is not clicking into place.
Close the lid and make sure that it closes all the way down. When the
lid closes, the lid switch should click. If there is no clicking sound,
then the switch may need to be replaced. Follow manufacturer's
directions for replacing the switch. If the lid does not close all the
way, visually check for signs that the lid is bent. If bent, try to
bend it back into place.
-
Loose
or broken belts could also prevent a washing machine from draining or
spinning. Pull the washer away from the wall and, using the
screwdrivers and wrenches, remove the back panel. Using the flashlight,
visually check for any broken or loose belts. Replace any broken or
loose belts. Although replacing washing machine belts is difficult,
anyone who has replaced belts on a car , lawn mower or even a bicycle chain should be able to accomplish the task.
-
Another
possibility for a washing machine to not spin or drain is the pump.
With the back panel still off the washer, check the pump with the
voltmeter to ensure that the pump is getting power. If the washer is
getting power, turn on the washer and listen to find out if the pump is
running but the water is still not draining. It may be necessary to
remove the pump and clean it or to replace the pump with a new one.
Once the pump is replaced, turn on the washer to determine if it will
now drain and spin.
-
If
all of the above steps fail to produce a washing machine that drains or
spins, then it is time to call a professional repairman. Use the
screwdrivers and wrenches to replace the panel on the washer and push
it back against the wall.

Thanks for using fixya.
Bosch excel 7 1200 wont do anything just showing
F21 relates to a motor or control board fault.
However, it is also caused by spikes in the mains and can be spurious.
To reset it.
Turn the washer knob to the off or reset position, 12 o'clock.
Turn the knob to the 6 o'clock position.
Press and hold the spin button.
While holding it, turn the knob to the 7 o'clock position.
Continue holding the spin button for about 5 seconds.
Release the button.
Turn the knob to off.
When your turn it back on it should have cleared the error code.
Happy Holidays
I own a Simpson Encore
hi yes, you can and yes you can, details below.
DF means the temperature sensor is faulty. Replace it. Get a new one from your Simpson agent. Turn power off. Open panel by removing the 3 screws at the rear of panel & swing it up. If you are standing behind the machine look on the left hand side at the top of the circuit board. You will see a small white plug with 3 wires (red-white-black) Very carefully pull this plug toward you off the 3 pin base. The other end is the sensor pushed into the water inlet chamber. Pull it out. Push new sensor into water chamber (make sure black rubber o-ring is on it) Push wiring plug back onto 3 pin base. It can only go on one way. Do not force it or twist it as the 3 pins can be easily broken or damaged. Then close panel & power up.
How to clean after removal
I usually hold the whole drawer under the tap and rinse it out thoroughly. If its the middle section (fabric softener) causing a problem just pull up the little flap and make sure the little pipe underneath is clear - it works by syphonic action and the syphon won't start if it is clogged with gunk.
My bosch exxcel has water sitting in bottom and
Check to see if there is a removable lower plastic cover at front of washer, if there is, then remove this, and you should find the pump filter located here, unscrew anticlockwise to remove and clean.
If no sign of filter, then remove rear panel of washer, and access the pump from here to check for blockage.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
Front load GE Washer 3 years old. wont wash or
It gets clothes stuck between the drum,(I wish I could have my old top loader back!! This is a pain 2months and I had my first repairman out I bought brand new now we fix it atleast once a week ourselves!!!!!
Front load washing machine would not spin now won't wash either.
Sounds like you have a broken belt or a bad motor. The easiest way to tell if the belt is bad is to reach inside the drum and turn it. If it turns very easily, you probably have a bad belt or something has caused the belt to jump off, such a s a loose pulley or bad bearing. If it feels like there is a good amount of resistance, or a kind of "winding up" noise, then the belt is still on and you likely have a bad motor. Also, you could just scoot the macine out, unplug it, and remove the back cover a look inside to see if the belt is still on the pulleys. Good Luck!
Bosch WFF1800 - not spinning
HI,
move the kicking plate on the front-bottom of the machine. You will see
o circular lid there, turn it on anti-clockvise to open. All of the
water blocked will come from there, be careful. Look carefully that
there are some objects blocking the water draining. Then turn on the
machine on draining programme, the plastic rotor should turn fastly
when the machine is on. If it is not running, change the pump motor. If
it is running, but machine is not draining again you can understand
that there is an objeck stuck on the hose between drum and pump motor.
Lay down the machine on its rear facade, you will see a large and black
hose between drum and pump motor. When you remove it, you will see that
there is something that blocks water running.
thank you for using fixya, rate my answer,

My machine is not spinning
Hi,
Whenever the ,machine do not spin, you need to investigate before you order or replace any part. There might be many reasons and you should check each and every aspect. Follow the below guide that would help you to find the fix :-
It doesn't pump or spin If it doesn't pump water out or spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as follows:
- If the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it. If the pump belt is broken or looks quite worn, replace it--but be sure to check the pump pulley before you change the belt.
- If the motor isn't running, the lid switch may be defective. If so, the washing machine can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.
It pumps, but doesn't spin If your washer pumps out the water but doesn't spin, check these:
- The lid switch may be defective. If it is, the washing machine doesn't spin. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.
- The motor coupler may be broken. Many Whirlpool®-manufactured washers use a small, relatively inexpensive motor coupling. It's plastic and rubber and is mounted to the shaft of the motor on one side, and to the transmission on the other. Over time, the coupler wears out and fails. You may need to replace it.
- A belt may be broken. Many washing machines have one or two belts. If a belt is broken or badly worn, you need to replace it with a genuine belt from the manufacturer. (Some washing machine belts are designed with special characteristics not found in automotive belts.)
- The clutch may be worn. If your washer is a GE, it may use a clutch to come up to the proper spin speed. As the clutch wears out, it may prevent the unit from spinning well or at all. If the clutch is worn, you need to replace it. For this job, you probably want to hire a qualified appliance repair technician.
- The drive motor may be defective. Many washer brands use a reversing motor. For agitation the motor runs in one direction, for spinning and draining, the other. It's possible for a motor to burn out in one direction and continue to operate in the other. If this happens, you need to replace the entire motor.
- The transmission may not be shifting properly. Older washers produced by Whirlpool® have a transmission with an electro-mechanical shifter. If the shifter becomes even partially defective, the unit may drain the water but not spin. This is a complex system, if your washer has a shifter problem, you may want to hire a qualified appliance repair technician to repair it.
- The spin bearing or basket drive may be worn or seized. These components allow the inner tub to spin freely inside the outer tub. When this is the problem, you usually hear a loud sound during the spin cycle. Call a qualified appliance repair technician.
It spins only with the lid closed For safety, washing machines are made so that they spin only with the lid closed. The lid switch prevents the spinning action when the lid is up.
Hope i helped you.
