My Bosch front end washing

My Bosch washer turns "on" and water runs but it does not spin or complete wash. I hear the machine "clicking" as if it is attempting to to function but no spin or full wash cycle.

Washing machine shows key on the display and won't

Hello, Welcome to fixya.

The Key symbol means the lock has been activated some how.

Here`s how to deactivate it...

1) Press the "menu" button until you see "CHILD LOCK :ON" appear in the display. ( if nothing is pressed within 10 sec.following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display )

2) Once you see what I just mentioned in the display press the "select" button until "CHILD LOCK :OFF" appears in the display.

3) Finally by pressing the "start/pause" button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

Let me know if this was helpful to you or not, if so please take a second and rate it accordingly.

Thank you for visiting "fixya" for your washer solution inquiry and good luck going forward.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

Bosch WFL 2060 makes a

A loud whining which gets louder as time goes by is usually an indication of bearing failure...When water passes through the seal on the pulley shaft it gets into the bearings and rusts them..They are no longer smooth..Hence the noise! Slop in the inner bowl increases as the bearings collapse... more in detail:-- If the tub seal lets go water will weep into the tub bearing. This will rust the basket shaft and normally wreck the tub bearing. Once the bearings starts to get worn enough it usually gets very noisy. The tub bearing is pressed onto the outer back half of the tub shell assembly. Normally need to replace the inner basket/shaft assembly and the outer shell with the tub bearing.
Sometimes the inner basket support will crack, this can give an clicking or banging noise as well.
Quite a large job . here is the link where you can see the pictures of this parts as well as buy them if you want:-- http://www.repairclinic.com/Bosch-Washing-Machine-Bearing-Parts
Its more advisable to be done by a experienced tech as it is bit tricky to handle and fix this parts properly.

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

I just got a Bosch

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

i'll start with the most obvious, but still quite common oversight, have you remove the shipping bolts from the rear of the washer ?

i.e.

1235124.jpg
The next thing to pay close attention to is detergent usage. Regardless of what one may have been told, "He" detergent has to be used, and even then not too much.

Look for this symbol when buying/using detergents...

These are the most common things that can (and DO ) contribute to the machine acting in the manner you've described.

If neither of these things apply to your situation, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.

Thank you for choosing FixYa and Good luck.

I put slightly soiled whites

well Try this to get the whitest whites aside from Javex and detergent you can use an old method that also removes oil spots from white table cloth we all have some of those at one time or other , the way is to fill a pot of water and slice a couple lemons to be added to the pot put your whites in the pot and bring it to boiled ,turn the heat down and simmer for 15 minutes, turn the stove off and leave the whites soaking in the pot until the next day than wash them in the washer with just detergent , another solution would be to hang the whites outside the sun rays will bleach them , but at this time of the year unless you live in a warm climate they will freeze like cardboard it happened a few times in the past but I must admit that they smell very fresh and yes they are white and stiff. So I just bleach and boil the stubborn stains for now !Cascade?] and place water with dissolved cup of powder in a clean bucket, place white items ONLY in this bucket & allow to soak for a day or two...THEN wash the items white ONLY in your regular warm/hot cycle! Doing this will keep whites white! It works!

I need to replace the

Hi

To replace the front rubber boot you'll need to remove the front panel first. Remove the control panel held in by a small screw on right (be careful not to pull the wires, use a string for support.

1) Remove bottom panel taking out filter plug one screw and slide to the right to remove
2) Top control panel 3 screws from feeder tray area,1 screw on right side of the main side panel
3)pop off control panel with screw driver at top edge( it clips in)
4) Door off 2 screws
5)Top of machine 2 screws at the rear top
6) Front panel 2 screws at the bottom (have to lay on the floor to locate)
7) Front panel itself is held in place with 4 palstic grommits two either side at the bottom pop outs (locate with a torch use big screw driver) two grommits at the top each side which slide down and out
You can access the rims all around to fit on the boot two pair of hands is good.

Then remove the three 10mm bolts holding the concrete ring retaining clips and carefully lift out the ring. You can now remove the inner spring and replace the boot.

To assemble it back follow the reverse process. Tricky part is getting the tension on the inner spring retainer and the wire-spring (outer) retainer. SOmeone can help you with the inner spring, one person can hold it and the other person could fit it whilst applying tension and wrapping it around the seal (boot) to meet the other end. Fitting the wire-spring outer retainer is a bit like fitting a tyre back on a wheel rim - use spoons to help with the fitting. Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.

I want my typing skill"s fast

The best program I have ever used to improve the speed and accuracy of my typing is "Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing". It's not usually free but is very cheap and has been very popular in all versions since it was introduced way back in 1987. Version 20 is the most recent edition, I think, but if you can get an earlier version for free then go for it.

Please take a moment to rate my answer.

Drum will not turn will drain but not spin

Its possible the brushes on the motor may be worn down. You can replace them your self. Mine started becoming intermittant, then finally would not turn at all. It would fill and drain fine. Service dude said that the whole motor needed to be replaced as you could not get just the brushes. he was wrong.
