Factory Data Reset- Factory Data Reset can be accessed through your settings which can be found either on your main screen or in your Apps/Widgets (tap on 6 squares in upper right hand corner) menu. From settings, on the left hand column, tap on Backup and Reset. On the right hand side tap on Factory Data Reset. This will take you to a screen that will give you the option to check the Erase SD card option which, when checked, will ensure that your pictures and any other personal information on this device will delete during the reset. Last, tap on Reset tablet and Erase everything.

This may be unrelated, but if you let the tablet go to sleep it will drain the battery. I found this out with my Stealth Pro about three months ago, I imagine it is more of an Android issue. It would not startup or go past the opening logo until I had charged it enough. This may also be the case if the battery is damaged or will not take a charge, in theory.
You are screwed, unless you know the security code, so take out any memory cards and do a factory reset. You will loose any data but he phone will work again.
Maybe the capacity of your SD card is greater than the maximum capacity the tablet can handle. For example, you inserted a 64 GB card and the maximum capacity allowed is 32 GB. Check the tablet specs.
This may not be the problem, but worth checking. I ran into this the other day with my Trio Stealth pro tablet. I had left it on while unplugged and it drained the battery completely in sleep mode. It would only show the startup icon and shut right off. After a complete charge it is back to normal operation. You might try making sure the charge is full, maybe the battery has gone bad and that would also affect operation. Also try starting it up without the SD card in. If it doesn't mount properly or a file is corrupt, it may act strangely. I believe it scans the SD card first and may be trying to startup on it. Other than the above mentioned, it could still be hardware related with Ram or CPU problems. Good luck in finding the problem, tablets can be fun but frustrating sometimes.
It would mean that the wifi you are trying to connect to is either password protected or will only work with specific pre-approved Mac Addresses (the hard code address of your device) It could be that you are trying to connect using a protocol that the router doesn't understand ie WEP. It is hard to tell without knowing if it is your router, how you configured it. how old it is etc. Your trio should be new enough to compensate for the older technology though so I would lean toward a bad password.
Most commonly that the wifi password is incorrect, it could also mean that you are using the wrong type of security key or that the router you are connecting to uses mac filtering and your devices mac address is not registered with the router.
I had intermittent trouble with connecting my Trio Stealth Pro 7" tablet to my secure wireless. I have since upgraded my DSL modem / Bridge and have not had an issue since. You should contact your service provider if you have had the same equipment for a number of years.
