Check your ground and make sure the ground is clean, if not sand it slightly where it's shinny then try tighten the ground clamp and tighten the ground clamp on the machine itself. Be sure the breaker is not tripped for the machine in the main electrical panel as well check that the electrical cord has not worn down from use, you may have to replace the electrical connector if it is badly worn. you can buy at any hardware store, you will want to buy a 15 amp male connector. If this does not sole your problem please let me now for more help. also be sure air is working for the machine.

Found out the model was still under warranty.

make sure that there is air to the plasma and set at the proper psi. Make sure that the contact tip and nozzle is in the cutting head correct.
