Dear Sir:This is probably a 1) faulty speed sensor or 2) the speed sensor is not plugged in properly. Its also possibly a 3)faulty motor control board or lower board.4)the drive motor is faulty 5) The drive belt is broken.6) Resent c.breaker 7) Test the power cord. 8) Reset the c. breaker from your home. 9) Do not use extension cord .Adjust the speed sensor see the diagram, and RUN your software calibration for easy diagnose and troubleshooting. read your user manual. sincerely. This is more than likely a loose drive belt, which would explain the slipping as well as the sound. To tighten this take off the plastic cover that covers the motor. You will see where the motor connects to the front roller with the drive belt. To tighten it there are two bolts that hold the motor to the machine, loosen those then pull it tight and retighten them, This should eliminate the problem.
