Friction is the #1 cause of this problem. Many cheaper treadmills have amotor with a cardboard core (people wonder why we are so down on cheap treadmills) and if the voltage and amperage through themotor heats it up sufficiently, it begins to smolder. If this is the case, you normally have to replace the belt and the motor and inspectthe deck. If the armature has cooked enough in the motor, you also have to replace the motor. If the belt and deck check out OK, check for a short in the motor. Youcan run the motor with an independent power source like a fullycharged cordless drill battery to see if the symptoms are the same. Click on thefollowing link for our motor test. If the belt and deck check out and the motor is OK, then check yourwiring and electronics for signs of scorching and replace the appropriate part(s).

So after reading the post from EricLaw, I wanted to clarify his solution because it also worked for me. When you open up the console, you will see the membrane (it actually says membrane inside very small) and the connecting wires to the membrane is actually a wide flat plastic with some stripes embedded in the clear plastic which can be easily detached from the membrane (looks like masking tape w/ stripes). These stripes are how the touch pad on the console talk to the membrane. I then took scissors and cut slits between each stripe (cutting only the clear plastic part of the plastic tape) so that I could leave a strip out of the membrane. I played around leaving different strips out until the right strip was left out. If I recall correctly, I left the 5th strip out and the key pad now works entirely EXCEPT the speed 1 and 4 which were the only keys working until I did this. Hope this helps.

You must LUBE the roller bearing front and back with WD-40 very well. . 2) Examine the drive belt motor, if are very tight, must be deflection 1/8" other wise the ball bearing of motor are very tight.Tight very well the bolt of motor. 3) Run again, if the problem persist, the Rollers are Faulty. 1)Examine, the board or Running deck, if the holes where the screwdriver are Looses, TIGHT very well, and see if there are doing correct . Normally this happen when the person training is Jumping, Is NOT normally doing this. Since this machine ARE not Heavy duty like as the machine GYM. Try putting the treadmil in a cooler location. the heat is effecting the mother board.

just change the Diodes D4015L and SCR´s S4015L whit a caugting buy the new change and ready or is a MC-2100 w / transformer just change the MOSFET IRF250N

It should be an adjustment of the roller.
