Toshiba Tecra M5 Notebook Questions & Answers
Some kes not working. help!!!
Hi,
If the problem is intermittent then the problem could just be
foreign objects like crumbs and hair that's trapped under the keys.
Turn
the laptop off and stand it on it's side with the lid open. Get a soft,
dry paintbrush and brush the keys, gently tap the keyboard in various
places with the back of the paintbrush to help dislodge anything that's
trapped.
Once your satisfied all the keys are clear turn the laptop on and see if it has made any difference.
If it has not then you may need to replace the keyboard.
Good luck.

I forgot my power on password,...can you help me
You need to build a hardware device that plugs into the printer port.
Get a 25 pin male D sub connector, and solder various wires
to the pins numbered below. The pins on the connector are numbered 1 to 25
For a picture of this hardware device (dongle) go to :-
http://www.tilman.de/sonstiges/toshiba/dongle1.jpg Connect these pins together by soldering thin insulated wires to the following pins :-
1-5-10,
2-11,
3-17,
4-12,
6-16,
7-13,
8-14,
9-15
Plug the dongle in the printer port and boot up the laptop, you will then be able to bypass the BIOS password and go into the BIOS to reset/remove the password.
Tecra s10 display brightness
look closely at the keys along the top of the keyboard (usually called F keys). one of them should have a tiny sun icon and the key beside it will have a larger sun icon. hold down the "Fn" key elsewhere on the keyboard while pressing the one of the sun icon keys to brighten or darken the picture. the sun icon keys may also be located on the Arrow keys (<-- --> etc.)

My phone is not turning on
I have had this on an iphone 5. Apple sold me a new phone as it was not worth repairing and it was out of the 12 month warranty. Its possible to order a new part and do it yourself but unless you are totally confident and have the skills to open up your phone and reassemble it then its just not worth it.

If you have previously created a password reset disk, insert it into your computer and reboot. Your computer should boot into the reset disk and display on screen instructions to reset your password. If you have not created a password reset disk, you're going to have to use some other password recovery tools. Download chntpw from
here and burn it to a CD. Insert the CD into your computer and reboot. It should load the CD automatically. It will prompt you to select a hard drive; usually, you can select the correct partition by just entering 1. It will prompt you for a registry path; enter Windows/system32/config/. Then it will give you the option to edit or reset user passwords.
Some keys laptop keyboard not working
Have you spilt anything on your keyboard?First thing to try is to plug in an external keyboard, do all of the keys work as they should? If they do then we now know for sure it is something to do with the laptop keyboard and not a software fault. You should try cleaning the laptop keyboard, this should only be done with the laptop powered off and the battery removed. The only proper way of cleaning sensitive electronic equipment like this is with compressed air, you can buy cans of these from your local supermarket. Using short controlled blasts, try to remove the dirt from under the keys.Leave for a short while, put the battery back in, power her up and see if that has sorted it. If not then it may be time to replace the keyboard, here is an instructional video for the R850,

Pc performer
Hello,PC Performer is a rogue registry cleaner and usually gets installed with free programs or by clicking ads. I wouldn't trust that you have that many errors as it is just trying to goad you into purchasing it but it will have slowed your computer down to trick you into believing there are errors. Uninstall PC Performer from your Programs and Features applet in the Control Panel. Depending on how it got installed you might have some other unknown programs need removed too such as Speed Analysis2 or 7goGames. Check through the list for any others you didn't installOnce uninstalled download AdwCleaner from
http://general-changelog-team.fr/fr/downloads/finish/20-outils-de-xplode/2-adwcleaner. Close all open programs and internet browsers then open up AdwCleaner and click the Scan button, once the scan completes click on Clean. To remove PC Performer from your internet browsers download Junkware Removal Tool from
http://thisisudax.org/downloads/JRT.exe Double click the tool (jrt.exe), it will open in command prompt, press any key to run the scan, a log will pop open when it completes.Run an anti-malware scan to make sure nothing has been missed, if you don't have one I recommend the free version of MBAM
