It sounds like you are in recovery mode from what i know of jail-breaking itouches/iphones, this was probably caused by you holding the power button/front button for about 10 seconds i think it takes.
i would recommend that you connect your phone to itunes and recover your phone as it seems that youve done a royal job of messing it up.
to recover it should recognize that there is a device connected, it will prompt you to recover the device if problems are detected, make sure that your itunes is the latest version as well.
Good Luck!

How do I install my sims card into my iphone 3g?
On the top of the phone there is a small hole next to the headphone jack. Find a paper clip and bend it so that the paperclip is straight. Then insert the paperclip into the hold next to the headphone jack and push lightly until the SIM card try slides out. Then insert your SIM cart into the tray and then put the tray back into the phone.

Well, it seems to me it's more likely to be a problem with the hardware of your phone. Most likely you need to take it to apple for repair or replacement.
A couple of things you can try tho....are first, to do a restore on your iPhone...if it is not a hardware problem, it could be the iPhone software itself. Do a restore, but I would try not restoring from a back up. Get the latest version of the iPhone software and restore the phone from scratch, and then sync your library.
Another thing it might be, could be the battery. There are lots of instructions online about how to change the battery, but it all depends on how brave you are when it comes to ripping apart your iPhone.
I think you may be a bit stuck and may have to take it to Apple for repair.
Good Luck

- This may not fix the problem but here are some tips that will help. When it is "just hanging" it is trying to receive a satellite signal. These are helpful tips to receiving that signal.
- Make sure you are outside and in the open. This is a phone and while it has GPS functions you have to be in the most optimal position.
- GPS units that work well have an antenna made to receive satellite signals faster than the phone antenna.
- Make sure you are standing still and not driving or walking fast. You have to give the satellites time to lock in on your position.
- Bad weather or even an overcast can effect satellites transmissions.
- Satellites move around and sometimes they are temporary a bit out of range.
- If a signal is not found try again a bit later and see if the satellites signals are being received better.

,i have my load but
If the message "Check Operator Services" appears on the screen of your mobile when you attempt to make a call/sms, you should:
Check if there's a number 2 on the left hand corner of your screen.
If so, press and hold the # (hash) key until you see the message "Change the Phone Line?".
Press OK. The message "Line 1 selected" should then appear and the number 2 will disappear.
Attempt to make a call.
Note: Line 2 is an option on Nokia mobiles that's selected by holding
down the hash key and pressing OK. Vodafone doesn't support this
feature. You can prevent accidental changing of lines by activating your
keypad lock. On some handsets, you can do this by pressing "Menu" then
"*" to lock the keypad. "Menu" then "*" will unlock.
How do you take the
First, if your iPhone is carrier locked (as most iPhones are), you can only use a SIM card from the same carrier -- if you purchased a subsidized iPhone from AT&T, you can only use SIM cards from AT&T, for example.
If your phone is in a case, remove the case. Power off your phone by pressing the power button for several seconds and confirming the power off operation when the on-screen prompt appears.
On the top of the phone, just to the right of the headphone jack, is a small hole. Gently insert an unfolded paper clip or a short piece of thin wire into the hole and press the SIM release button. The SIM tray should pop out. Carefully remove the SIM tray, replace the SIM card and re-insert the SIM tray.
Now you should be able to power your phone back on and use your new SIM card.
Need puk code
Good day,
There are a lot of requests regarding PUK codes.
When
you enter your SIM PIN number wrong to many times you will need your
PUK code. This is useful when your phone is stolen, because you can not
loose any money due to call charges.
There are two ways to get your PUK number.
The
first way you can get your PUK is to consult your documentation that
came with your SIM Card. Somewhere your PUK will be given within the
documentation.
The other way to get your PUK if you don't have
your documentation or lost it, is to phone your mobile service provider.
They will ask you a few details and then be able to give you the PUK
code for the SIM card.
Feel free to let me know if this was useful!
Kind regards

Try to DFU restore your iPhone. Hope you got a backup, because you're losing the stuff on it. with iPhone plugged in, hold down the sleep wake switch, and the home button for about 10 seconds, until the iPhone turns off. Once the screen goes black, continue holding, count to 8. Release sleep wake switch, continue depressing home button. Wait for iTunes to recognize, and you'll be prompted to restore. If this does not work, you'll need to get in touch with apple. Either at an Apple Store, or at 1-800-APL-CARE
