The defrost element has faulted, it is relatively easy job, the element is the large metal piece on the bottom of the freezer coil. Disconnect the wires and undo the securing straps fit the new one and secure etc. may also pay to replace the defrost termination sensor. This can be ignored but it will periodically ice up and need defrosting. Last point, sometimes the drain pan gets blocked and the ice buildup begins( you find less ice than a normal defrost fault, you did say not excessive) in this case only the drain needs unblocking and everything will be fine. Can sometimes pay to wait and see if it happens again. Provided you cleared the drip pan drain completely when defrosting.

Check water filter or bends in water line start at water source

The freezer part is working but the refrigerator part is leaking water from the left side upper corner .there is like a vent from, where the water is leaking and the refrigerator side is not cooling any hint or advice will be appreciated thanks

no theres not any fire danger,it may just be the fan blades hitting ice build up due to defrost issues you will need to remove the rear inner wall in the freezer to see exactly what it is

Is the food frozen solid in the freezer? Does the ice maker get any water to it? Do you see any ice buildup in the freezer?

when was the last time u change your water filter, if water is coming into the ice maker and it don,t make ice that means u have a defective ice maker, if no water comes into the ice maker check the water valve at the back of the refrigerator with an ohm meter for resistance if no resistance is present replace water valve,u should unplug water valve when checking

This is a pretty common problem...Try unplugging the fridge for 30+ seconds. If the display doesn't light up after you plug it back in then the control board is dead. The cable that powers the top drawer might be severed. The cable runs inside left panel to drawer on left side as well. That happened to our unit. We had the same problem. In which case you need to replace the power cable.

If is still running through your water dispenser, then the ice maker is shot. Just replaced my for the same reason.

Use body soft for cleaning inside the refregerator.

It is visible - the trim ring is snap fit around the damper.
Remove it to see the 4 mounting screws.

ice maker is not filling with water

HI THERE.ice maker not working has many reasons.but try these checks first1-stop /start leaver or switch.2-water in ice tray.if not fill manually first and try.if works once 3-check inlet valve or water supply.if all ok then is either the ice machine or pcb .good luck Ali

hot water, outside of that the inside of the freezer will have to come out and the defrost switch and ,or element will have to be replaced

check your defrost drain line. can be located in freezer section. also if you have a filter at the bottom make sure the housing is not cracked. If your frig is cooling then the coil is going to be doings its job
